I have often thought of situations like this.. happens often in the corporate world. Mickey was hired “off the street” and named Associate Head Coach immediately. I think he was Trev’s plan all along. Mickey is the next coach.. a good, safe and cost effective option if no better candidate is available.

Is anybody’s blood just boiling right now about this absolute crap show that Frost was running ? Chinander never deserved a P5 job , or Ruud or Travis Fisher. The former offensive assistant clowns never deserved to be here either. How did Frost leave this program in worst shape than Mike Riley ? Just great that Frost and Chinander can run off with millions. It just ain’t right.

Yes, agreed — bad decisions in hiring head coaches, but also head coaches being given salary pools to hire the best assistant coaches around, but hiring their buddies instead.

It’s tough to disagree with your take. At first, I think there is no chance that he gets a shot. But on second thought, I wonder how much better of a passer he could be with better line protection.

No good from a game like this, other than taking kids to the game and cheap tickets on the secondary market. Could any one of the Fordham players play 1st or 2nd string at NU? No. So if that’s the case, practice will be harder than the game.

Hey OP- A first year staff at a perennial B1G doormat, with a backup QB and no real home advantage just schooled our staff who have been together for several seasons now. We have regressed every year. You’d be lying if you said Adrian now is better than freshman Adrian,. Who are the go to skill players ?? What’s our identity ? What do we do well? Do we still beat ourselves ? In year 4 ?? Wake up OP , the panic is real and I see the strain.

A 3-5 team does not belong in a bowl game, pandemic or otherwise. With 50 bowl games in a typical season, we don’t need yet another amendment of the rules to further devalue the meaning of a bowl game. The team votes to end the season? Yeah...well there play reflects that. All bark, no bite. Let’s hope for a better 2021.
