I am never not paying for a moving service again.
-
Bought a house and moved in last year. Neighbors helped with some of the larger things, but otherwise it was all done by me. Said to my mom "Remind me to never do this again."
Did I mention that I stumbled and fell while carting some stuff down the ramp of the U-Haul and busted my foot, and had to do half of the move when I could barely walk, and had to pay for an extra four days of rent at my old place because it took me a lot longer to move than anticipated?

Church's Fried Chicken in the Big-O. What's next Whataburger? No more fast food Omaha... We need more variety in sit down restaurants. maybe some Chicago Style Pizzeria's or some New Orleans southern cooking but no more darn chicken!!!

@admo I didn't say anything about them moving near me, I'm like 500 miles from the nearest Whataburger.

Vala's Pumpkin Patch is quickly turning into the Disney of the Midwest.
Every year since 2016, my work has offered discounted tickets. They used to be $10 each. I just got an email today about the tickets. They're now discounted to $17.99/ticket for a weekday (full price is $19.99) and $34.99/ticket for the weekend (full price is $39.99).
So, for the amount of tickets I was going to buy, I can either save $18 for the weekday or $45 for the weekend. Obviously that's better than full price, but not by much when you consider how much things on the inside cost now, too. Just wild what that place has turned in to. I'm all for capitalism but... geesh. -
Forum question... when you quote
totwo different people do you do it in the same post or post the first quote and reply then post the second quote and reply? (I posted the first and while I was responding a person posted and I posted a second..) Is that double posting and bad etiquette? -

Which band was loved by both dudes and chicks?
I will go with Guns N Roses

Agree about hair bands.
And I'll say this: Gen-Xers were so proud of themselves for wiping them out during the grunge era, but I really think it was detrimental to rock's long-term popularity. 80s hard rock & metal were fun! And as it turns out, a lot of people like fun music.
But then in the 90s, it became much more focused on angst and depression and aggression. And let's be real: it's almost entirely white guy angst, depression, and aggression. It certainly has its place (I listen to tons of it), but it's not gonna appeal to as broad of an audience as the more fun and universal themes that were more popular in 80s rock.

I wasn't able to watch the 2nd half last week....which is good bc I was furious just following the ESPN Gamecast. Is there a time and place where full game videos can be found if I don't have BTN?

For the first time in 4 years I feel like I can breathe again.
Our long national nightmare is over. Congratulations President-Elect Joe Biden.
There is still work to do to ensure all votes remain counted, but this race is over.

@commando It's probably not a question of whether there will be a tantrum, only how big it will be.
