Rhule learned last year that even vague, tangential statements will be used by Colorado as rage fuel, so he made a point not to give the reporter anything.
The whole gist of the article is manipulative. It was pretty obvious the reporter was trying to drum up controversy.
Yes, it was. The reporter was looking for click bait and Rhule gave him nothing. That being said, I did like how the reporter highlighted Rhule's commitment to forging strong relationships with high schools and their head coaches. He's going about it the right way, as opposed to Sanders.

The reporter was really slick and tried to get Coach Rhule to say something negative about Deion and his recruiting practices. Rhule didn't take the bait.

This is not the news I wanted to wakeup to...and it's been such a quiet offseason.

Our schedule is about to get much more difficult with the addition of Oregon, Washington and USC. Why the hell would we want to add an Oklahoma or Tennessee to our schedule? It's hard enough trying to get 8-9 wins in the Big 10.

completely free...covers his first press conference with Ohio State yesterday. Kelly used some interesting language to describe his time at UCLA.

Rhule sure knows how to recruit. He has made quite the impact since arriving just over a year ago.

He already got his Bachelor's degree way back when he was at Texas, and got his Master's at UNL.
So...he's hoping to make it to the NFL? Because I don't see that happening.

You must had seen different highlights. I saw a good share of long TD runs.
Sure, against opposition that didn't have a whole lot of speed. You do realize the Big Ten is a completely different level of talent?

He is not slow. He just does not have a burst.
I never said he was slow; but he's not breaking any long ones either. A fast linebacker would be able to take him down. In the highlights, I didn't see much speed on either side of the ball.

Yes, he has no eligiblity left
Then why would he put out an official statement, saying he's leaving for the NFL?

Man, that really sucks. Best of luck to him! Now we definitely need another back.
EDIT: Wait a minute...wasn't Grant a senior? Wasn't this his last year?

He's definitely not fast, but he is a bruiser! It looks like it takes multiple guys to take him down.
-
That sucks. I was hoping he could be the backup next year, in case Raiola wasn't ready or got hurt.
-
What an amazing turn of events! Isn't he the number 1 rated QB in the country? Now, if we can just establish a pipeline down in Georgia...that would be the real payoff.

Syracuse? I am trying so hard not to laugh. Best of luck
