I would buy one for everyday of the week...

I didn't say that we'd be undefeated to this point. I would like to be competitive, and our kids fired up. Our boys look like Custer's troops during Little Bighorn. I'm far from spoiled, but I am damn sure stubborn. I'm spoiled because my team has a winning tradition? That on any Saturday, I think that we could beat the best teams in the nation? If I'm spoiled for wanting that, then so be it. Right now, we'd get our butts handed to us by St. Mary's School for the Blind...

I want to win, more than anything. Changing the offense as drastically as it has been, just isn't the way to do it. You just don't come right out and change everything so radically, that aside from the uniform, you wouldn't recognize your own team. You work into the WCO, not jumping into it with both feet. Callahan has set himself up for a potential failure. We are not known for recruiting WR's, but for O-line, defense, and running backs. By switching the offense, we have to recruit for more skill position players. Being selfish, I want them to win running the ball and with defense. I know that's not going to happen anymore. Not so sure how much winning is going to come along with the west coast offense. What it boils down to is that our team isn't going to be the same anymore. And as for it, "being for the better", I really doubt it...

Then you'd better start looking for a better Offensive Coordinator, or a new job...

I was contemplating driving to Lincoln to kick him in the nuts after that...

So I was off on the pass completions, big hairy deal... Whatever happened to running the ball to set up the pass? I know that "never" work. I can't think of the name of the team, that would run the ball religously, then hit the tight end for a big gain, and even a few touchdowns...

Just makes me so glad he's our D-coordinator...

Well, that might be fine for you, but I do give a sh#t what offense we run. I want an offense that scores and doesn't look like a bunch of pop warner rejects. Whether it's personnel or coaching, something's got to be done, or were gonna end up below .500. I remember when we would be running the ball and put up more yardage than the whole offense combined this year. I know it's today, and not yesterday, but some adjustments need to be made. Raise your hand if you were alive the last time we didn't go to a bowl game???

We might be in the same state now with Bo at the helm, but I believe they would be playing harder than they are. I know Callahan is the "big name", but I'd rather have a guy that the kids will play hard for. *waits for the roar of ALL THE COACHES SUCK AND I KNOW THAT IF WE GET NEW COACHES EVERYTHING WIL BE FIXED INSTANTLY!!! from the Husker faithful* Well, are you happy with the way the seasons going so far. They didn't stink to bad last year with pelini. If mizzou is smart and watched ksu game they will be running option left and option right.

I absolutely have a problem with throwing the ball, even more than 10 times. They are still learning the WCO. By throwing the ball too much, is a very easy way of losing control of the game. We'll have a better chance of putting the ball in D. Sproles hands where he can hurt us. He can't do much if he's sitting on the bench watching his defense. Heaven forbid if we get behind early. If we do, I could definietly see 30 attempted passes, maybe even 35.

and 3 touchdowns, maybe 4... We give up the booty to K-state by four score, and 7 years ago....

Here's my prediction We know that K State doesn't have the best run defense, so you know that means Callahan will throw the ball, and the resident Stick in the Mud says Dailey attempts over 30 passes... And we lose...

I don't see Callahan as an "emotional" coach, or a great motivator... He kinda reminds of the old Vikes coach, Jerry Burns. That man barely looked alive on the sidelines...

Being in the worst state in the nation, aka New Jersey, I get nothing on the Huskers... People around here wouldn't know college football if it bit them in the a$$... So, this board is greatly appreciated...

Well, I didn't get to listen to the game, as I usually do, because in New Jersey, trying to get a husker game on TV, is like trying to get an audience with the pope... My internet was FUBAR, so I didn't get to listen... I'm not taking it that I missed a whole lot... We kicked hell out a of a bad team, which was pretty much expected...

I hate to say this, but I think we're gonna lose... Sproles is going to run all over us... We're going to get pounded by a team that runs the ball... How's that for irony???
