  1. 1. Deion Sanders 2. Urban Meyer 3. Bob Stoops 4. Jamey Chadwell 5. Troy Calhoun Go Big 1-3 or Go Option 4-5
  2. Deion Sanders. More realistic to get him than Meyer or a Stoops. Texas and SEC level recruiting. Makes Nebraska cool. Great coach. Entertaining. He has the ethic Alberts describes. He might keep Mickey Joseph and be a powerhouse recruiting team. Think of the transfer portal in year one!

  4. It is too bad Oklahoma didn't accept our offer to play non-conference games against each other in our off conference years. But now it is our responsibility to enhance the rivalry by getting back to conference championship games against Oklahama. Oklahoma will be there half the time. We need to be there half the time too. That would cause us to meet three out of four years. It is ridiculous to start calling Colorado our rival just because we don't play Oklahoma about one year in four. My word, we beat Colorado about 25 years in a row from the 60s to 90s.
  5. Anyone who even thinks about an answer other than Oklahoma must be under age 25 born out of state, and with parents who were not Nebraska fans, and even then an answer like Colorado or Missouri is disgraceful.
  6. The cupboard is bare. There are 12 teams (if you count Baylor) and 11 positions. So, an average team should have one player on each of the four offensive and defensive teams. That makes 8. Nebraska has 8. Very average. And no member of the first team defense. The problem wasn't just Callahan. We don't don't have the players of a top 40 team. On another thread we don't have any members on a national list of top ten players by any position. And we won't have a player drafted in the NFL top fifty. It is going to take a long time to turn this around.
