  1. Wow, Tuesday guys.... hasn't this ran its course by now?
  2. On this point your definitely correct. It's has become quite an epidemic around here lately, and this is post HuskerJen! and I am just as much to blame as anybody. I think everybody is just really hurting over this one. Even Bo said today that this is the most he has maybe ever hurt after a loss in his entire career playing and coaching. I just hope we crush ULL and then can focus on the Big 12 schedule!
  3. I kind of think that is part of the point. Maybe a little stat sheet for the people with Ganz hard-ons?
  4. This logic makes sense if you're a Boise State fan. However, the Big 12 Champion more than likely plays in the NC game. We don't need to root for anyone. All we need to do is win the games.
  5. I would say that is spot on. I can understand both sides of this, but you do have to at least be cordial. I also don't think anything was that bad in the post game. Maybe Bo got sick of waiting for "Stuttering Tom" to finish his question and that is what pissed him off?
  6. As a 1,897,000th part of the fan base, I do not agree with this assessment. by writer I think he meant Tom Shatel...in which case that is certainly his job. I am disagreeing with the underlined. Oh, okay. would be appropriate here, I believe. Ya, now re-reading that does make sense. Got in a tiffy about our other little scuttle-butt I think and didn't follow my context clues lesson.
  7. Here's the deal, man. Someone asks why the writer drops Nebraska out of the rankings and you say this: sportsillustrated.cnn.com as your response. That sounded like saying "it is that particular website, that is your reason" which is then going to start this whole "SI hates us" crap. My post was more for the people that were going to come on after you and post this stuff. Also, as far as reading comprehension goes if you go back and re-read your original post you would see that CONTEXT CLUES would state that you were anti-SI. I just got pissed that somebody would accuse me of reading comprehension problems when they didn't examine their own writing enough to make such comment. Just sayin'..... Sorry I acted like a 12 year old girl on this issue, knapp.

  9. sportsillustrated.cnn.com His job is not just to write about college football, but to make people read what he writes. Therefore they build in controversy. Wait a minute, now Sports Illustrated hates us too? Don't lump them in the same category as ESPN, much better magazine. Much better website, they actually do real reporting. This guy is one of the few "opinion/blog" writers they have. That is all ESPN has anymore. Although I don't agree with his poll, don't start this SI hates us shitt. Uh... where in the world did you get the impression I said they hate us? What are you smoking? I said he's creating controversy to sell his articles. Do they not teach reading comprehension anymore? This is WAY out of left field... I don't think that In the Deed the Glory was implying that you were saying that. He probably had a hunch that all of the ESPN hates Nebraska bloggers were going to start the SI hates Nebraska threads because of this poll article. I don't think he was pointing the finger at you. unfortunately somebody had to be an a$$hat about it and tear somebody else down. It's getting to be a reoccurring theme.

This is WAY out of left field... You know what, knapp.....fvck it. I'm not going to glorify your ignorance t post with how I really feel about your arrogance displayed in it. You're going to have to find somebody else to raise your apparently very low self-esteem today. Anybody help me, how do I ignore someone?
  11. I believe that was his hit list for this 2009 season, you know since we play them this year. He would check them off as he goes.
  12. Love this one... its not true though. What's in it then? Lot of Sears Crystal Footballs in Columbia now a days? Oh, you mean all of those Big 12 conference titles you've won? I mean, we all know there is no such thing as a North or South division trophy that is handed out by the Big XII (because our jackass former AD tried to pass that one off), so what exactly do you have? My point is, you don't have this: EDIT: Fro, not trying to be a jerk. Just wanted to defend my original ridiculous T-Shirt idea

  14. They also think Mangino should put out a self-help book on how to live life to the fullest as a human blimp. They're opinions are a little shaky......
  15. We were always taught to push the receiver to the sideline in cover 2 because it acts like an invisible receiver. Especially with a QB like Taylor who is inaccurate that comes into play quite frequently. However, we never ran cover 2 at the end of a game. When the opponent has to go 87 yards to score with no TO and under 2 minutes left, why you would only have 2 deep baffles me. I wonder if that was an incorrect call made on the field. I just can't believe Bo called cover 2 in that situation.
  16. Are you pooping me? This day keeps getting worse, man. Please god tell me there is no news about Helu and Suh missing classes and blowing knees.....
  17. How about a Red shirt with a Gold square on it and White lettering saying.... Missouri Tigers Trophy Case .....you know like it is completely empty
  18. You're right, the second one was not a hold. I will agree there, but Henry did hold on the TD pass.
  19. Yes it does. Man read the example of the rules above. If you are diving or laid out for the catch you have to maintain possession through the entire catch. The rule is clear. The feet in, the knee down, nothing matters if you don't maintain possession through the reception. By your explanation, if a guy lays out on the sideline with two feet in bounds to grab a ball and has it in his hands, but hits the ground and drops it, that is a catch? He didn't catch it, it was a holding call, we lost that game not the officials.
  20. Thanks, man. I know a lot of us are very disappointed. You guys have all been awesome on the board, and I have always pulled for you when u aren't playing us. Mostly because I hate Miami, but you know..... Thanks again. Hang around the board if you'd like. We tend to have good posters from former opponents like my man Killer Cacti!!!
  21. POT meet KETTLE. There are more Nebraska fans in Texas than any other state besides Nebraska. Last I checked, a good chunk of the NU roster is from Texas and growing. Quit being an a-hole. That so long lasted about 3 minutes. I can honestly say.... don't let the doorknob hit u where the good Lord split u.
