It's that simple...it's only a technique. You face a D that shuts down your run, you spread it out and open up your options...nothing wrong with that when you win.

Okay, you got me on that one. I'm done playing the protagonist...we got pride, talent (minus depth) and motivation...so where's the 'shirts? When is the time right? To me it should be right before the Missouri game if we play well against VT. It's really hard to say how well the defense is playing because the teams we have played so far haven't been stellar teams. It's gotta be now. K, Bo knows D. Our red zone D seems pretty good (knock on wood). Let's not look at the run defense stats, but I'd say we're a better team than in the last couple years so far. Maybe Bo sees something we don't, but weren't these things passed out before the first game, or second, etc.?

I gotta say the athletic ability is there...maybe not depth, but they got game to say the least. VT will no doubt be the magic key for the conference games to come. Put a boot in ur buddy's behind...no time than now to put that packet in. Get w'me off-line if u want me to drop a motivational word in for him.

Well enjoy it, I mixed alot with OH58-D pilots while in 1-10 CAV. Loved those guys while in the CAV, nothing like being a Scout PL and having Air Recon at your fingertips! Well, if our playbook is anything like the teams, then boy help them! you think Bo holding out on the 'shirts helps us or hurts us?

Ok, I just wanna know what everyone thinks. New (better) coach, working back to old school defense, same solid offensive game-calling...but does our team have the fire needed to make this a different season? I feel the same way as a year ago before we played USC; "The game that is supposed to define Nebraska's year". Leave aside the any given Saturday argument...do our players have what is needed to get this done?

The only thing that worries me about not just this game, but this season (as the end of last) is this: Gantz seems to have a high interception ratio when he starts chucking the ball. While I guess this is average for any QB who throws alot, I would rather have a better avg between our passing and throwing. Now if we could get the run game hammered out a little better...I would be able to sleep better at night.

If a halfback option pass, back to Joe for a touchdown, is holding things back...I can't wait until we let it rip.

On the border at Fort Rucker, Alabama...gonna be a bad night if all of us Nebr students can't get the game.

I gotta go with sarge on this one...ratings and rankings. Which is why all of a sudden the Va Tech and now Mizzou games are now on the 'tube. The next few few games will let me know if I can watch some more down here in Alabama for the rest of the season...
