Yeah he's apologizing for it then it's not a "friendly" bike ride with a co-worker. Had he not tried to hide the fact it might be believable but he not once mentioned her and it comes out a week later. You can be pretty certain something was going on after 5 days of employment. The ESPN story goes more in detail in regards to the apology to the school his family etc.

CSU would have probably beat the Huskers handily this past season. That team was pretty good and played in a pretty decent conference. Coach Miles got the most from his kids and I think he'll do that for us as well.

They apparently didn't work so they discontinued them.

It's all about what the potential recruit sees. Right now those recruits see that the Wisconsin coach recruits transfers to take over the starting position over guys who have been there. They don't see that they are thin at QB, they see only the coach letting guys transfer in for the starting job. Mind you this is just my opinion. If I were a recruit I would keep this in mind when talking to Wisconsin.

You'd think that QB's would stop going to UW seeing things like this happening. You accept a schollie and the coach goes out and recruits a transfer that can play immediately for 2012 and 2013 seasons. I guess when the quarterbacks that you've recruited are so fragile you have to go out and recruit like this. Still this can't look good to potential recruits.

So he named it himself, so be it:) I'm sure that Greg Pruitt will be so happy about this new trophy.

Well deserved and even more reason to be proud that we're all Husker fans. You have to be a great one to have an award named after you.

In my opinion this is a very good hire. Let's face it, NU is not known for basketball and we were never going to get a top tier coach nor were we looking to hire one. I have seen Miles take a CSU team and light a fire under their hind quarters and get them going. This is a very good hire if he can get some players to buy into his game plan. I've watched Miles coach for a while now because he's always coming to town to play my second alma mater UNLV. I for one like this hire.

Apparently with 6836 votes the Huskers are taking this one by storm. The vote stands at 74% for Nebraska.

NU would have smoked them easily. Michigan fans have this strange notion they'd have beaten us though. I guess when you live in Michigan the cold does tend to mess with reasonable thought processes.

Interesting, i've tried it from 3 PC's and all to ESPN. Though i have noticed that the votes have actually gone down from 813 to 745. Good ole ESPN and their awesome sites.

You have watched this team recently correct? I've seen less heart this year than i've ever seen under a BP coached squad. The team when down this year reminded me of a BC coached team and it was beyond pathetic in my opinion. There were a few players with heart but a majority of the team just gave up. You're right though, you can't star heart because quite a few times we'd have been -3 stars in heart.

I'm not going to deny that the coaching is a big part of the problem. I wont deny that a lot of the coaching staff definitely deserves a certain hotseat and some a lot more than others. I think if Bo ever decides to check his ego at the door and do whats in the best interest of the program, he'll be a great coach. He needs to stop hiring friends and start hiring coaches that have a clue. As it stands, we've been stuck with an OC with no experience and now a DC with no experience. What's next, we going to pull someone from the stands to coach the secondary? I know Bo is trying to help his friends and get them experience, but this is not a low end Div 1 school that can just go ahead and test this scenario. We are a school that has been there and we need to be getting proven coaches to take over the duties given them, not beginners. Just my 2 cents in regards to the coaches.

Maybe you shouldn't come into the forums and read the "Meltdown" page if you don't want to see or hear them. It was your choice to come in and read them, so blame yourself for not using any common sense.

I'm not melting down, i'm ashamed of this team though. I'm ashamed that our boys have no heart and are perfectly happy to look like bumbling idiots in front of the nation. I'm ashamed that our coach can't seem to get these kids to pull their heads out of their hind quarters for 4 quarters. I'm ashamed that we can't find a proven OC/DC to mentor these kids and help Bo. I've nothing to melt down about, i'm not the one who looked completely pathetic on national television.
