You should be blaming Presti. He screwed the pooch at an all-time level with this roster and franchise. 

I don't mind Donovan, its Melo who has continually fallen up short when it matters that bothers me. I'm afraid not a lot of teams would be willing to give up young talent for him unless they are desperate for an older star. 

I think it's Carmelo Anthony. Everywhere he goes kills the team.

OKC screwed up letting Harden go. I think they would be a better team if they had kept Harden and Durant and let Westbrook go.

Depends on the team’s identity. Defense isn’t worth much if the pitching isn’t there. The Royals won a World Series with relief pitching and defense. I think small market teams have to exploit the weaknesses of their division

Are you big on final results? - no NCAA tourney, 1st round NIT loss - Moos, who's on your shortlist?

It'd be funny if Miss. State or Penn St. won the NIT and Michigan won the championship.

I still can't figure out why we played Miss State in the 1st round on their home court.  Weren't we both two of the higher seeds in the NIT?  Weird.

If we beat Michigan I am very ok if we dont have to face MSU. Losing to Wisconsin wouldnt be ideal especially if they win the whole thing but I think we matchup ok with Wisconsin. Outside of Happ they arent all that scary.

@GSG Sad thing is he went to my Highschool and I actually think he is a great kid... Super competitive, but boy does he flop a lot.

Most coaches remind players that every possession counts.  One mistake, lack of focus for even a few seconds or one smart thing learned by watching film can make the difference in a game and sometimes a season.  Kansas, Creighton, 1st PSU game and OSU were all winnable.  We have done well in other games though where we finished strong.  

And two points away from being a tourney lock.

Who knows, maybe beating Kansas would have made the team cocky and over confident, and then maybe they would've dropped a couple more games.

@Comfortably Numb Good point. It's one of those sports that makes me get all philosophical about life.

I mean... is there something out there in the world that I'm AMAZING at, and I just haven't found it? Then I think of all the people who never find that thing. And how the hell did these people just randomly decide "I want to do curling!" and then it turns out they're great at it. Obviously they worked hard to get good, too. But when you win a gold medal it means probably you're naturally gifted at... curling.

Then there are those jerks like Bo Jackson that are good at everything so it doesn't even matter what they decided to do.
