    Are the recently departed players completely dropping out of school or just quitting the team but still enrolled?

      I believe they have to remain enrolled to maintain eligibility.

      Actually I retract my previous statement. I don't think they have to be enrolled unless there is a conference rule that says they ha e to. Nothing I read says they have to be in school after they want to transfer, just that the 5 year clock is always ticking.
