Right now according to 24/7 Nebraska is 28th and Florida is 21st.  Not a great deal of separation there.

To be honest, I was very concerned he wasn't coming here for all the same reasons that article pointed out.  That was without the SEC bias that this site obviously has.  Rationally, it made a lot of sense for him to stay in Florida which makes me that much more thankful he is here.

Turns out, I just had to wait until ... ? Time passed?  A Fix was made?  I don’t know, It works now.  and, @Toe, I had actually tried all of that to no avail yesterday.

If you like to watch any other Husker sports outside of big ones, I think it's a good value.  I'm personally a wrestling junkie so I end up getting the monthly conference pass for $14.95/mo and I feel like I get a fair value.

One time I did the yearly pass but I didn't use it a lot.  Now I buy a monthly pass once in awhile - like early in the basketball season when the games aren't on BTN.

Seems like all the women's sports, save for VB, are only on BTNPlus.  Thanks for the input, peeps.

How experimental are we talking about? Putting pot in Runzas experimental? Dropping LSD and doing the Tunnel Walk experimental? Having your MILF wife hook up with a co-ed on campus while you record it on your phone experimental? 

All of these are acceptable answers for collegiate experimentation--I just didn't know how far you wanted the ADs to experiment during Spring games.

Actually I retract my previous statement. I don't think they have to be enrolled unless there is a conference rule that says they ha e to. Nothing I read says they have to be in school after they want to transfer, just that the 5 year clock is always ticking.

Yeah ol BTN has been cranking out the NU content recently.  In the past week they've shown the 97 special, the Brook movie and a couple of past bowl games.  Not too shabby!

My first jury included one of my Sped students as a fellow juror.  Seriously, he was 19 years old senior at the high school I was teaching at. He was on my roster.  I did his annual IEP for goodness sake.  The court would not excuse him.  The kicker was after my taking meticulous notes for five days about the case-a man suing geico because he felt they didn't pay out enough, I was informed at the time of jury instructions that I was the alternative juror and was released without ever casting my opinion or even finding out the outcome.  And no free lunch either. 

I didn't mind jury duty the one time I was chosen for an assault case. Took all day but it was interesting. A murder case would be pretty cool imo. But generally jury duty equates to wasting half your day sitting and waiting and not accomplishing anything other than wasting your time. Boring as H-E-L-L is absolutely what it is 98% of the time.

I sat on a murder case that lasted 8 days about 5 years ago.  It was really interesting to see how the system works and actually gave me some optimism in the system to see how serious the 12 of us from all corners of society took our role.

At least they beat the rival and there is an actual football stadium involved in their bowl, which they must be thrilled about being in one at all.  Plus game weather won't be a factor.

@Dilly Dilly Ok, I'm busted and so is @Branno at 7-5 but like I said I really felt it would be worse.  I was ready to move on from Riley early in the season when it was obvious to me that we weren't where we should be as a program.  Fire Riley talk was discouraged but whenever the fledgling Frost train came up (usually after a loss) I tried to push it along.  As UCF's season took off and ours tanked, the Frost train became unstoppable.  By season's end I can only think of 1 poster that thought we shouldn't fire Riley.  My only concern with Frost was that our defense would become soft(er) practicing against his offense.  The coaches stress being physical so I'm no longer concerned.  I'm pessimistic about next season since I don't believe 1 off season will undo what wasn't done the past 3 or more years as far as development particularly in the weight room.  Changing offense, defense is minor compared to attitudes, habits and mentality.  7-5 this season would be amazing and regardless of how good we look in the spring game, I won't be more optimistic.

I wasn't here to bust you - i just couldn't believe anyone saw a 6 or fewer win team.  I saw that happening before Callahan's last year (when everyone had such high hopes and thought the sky was the limit).  In both coaches' last seasons, they were worse than I could have even imagined it would be.  Hope that changes this year, but i'm willing to be patient.  Takes while to build that thing back up.

I concur, so dilly dilly.  Tiwards the end of last season I didnt even set my alarm clock for the early games and if I overslept and missed the start of the game it was like oh well.  This year im on here an hour bwfore the game with a countdown going.

I lurk on their forum occasionally, mostly to see how Frost had done things his first season there and because it's the off season. Some of it's pretty funny. E.g. they've convinced themselves their new coaching staff is an upgrade

Same, @Moiraine.  I pop over sometimes if I'm super bored.  They're going to score more points than they did, play faster than they did, have better coaches than they did -- considering Heuple comes from a deeper coaching tree and whatnot, and bonus -- they have clown cars full of talent.  They reminded me of Kansas Fan after their orange bowl season.

I think we got 6 complete sets (3 from each mint) collected.  I don’t recall Nebraska being a tough one but quite a few from the Philly mint were hard to come by around here.

Philly was prolly easier around here, since, well, we live and work < 75 miles away.

Yep, best thing for cleaning lenses is a good clean microfiber cloth. Even the larger ones they sell for cars work great. Dont use paper towels, kleenex, etc, also shirts with polyester in them arent good, has to be 100% clean cotton shirt.

Lens wipes are the best for cleaning glasses - or any lens really.

Lens wipes, IMO, are the worst and is likely the sole reason my scratched lenses are as bad as they are.  (Plus, they’re two prescriptions ago, so perty old). The microfiber is all I will use now.

Being able to talk coherently and knowledgeably, and specifically about football, is not a requirement. That's why there are only a few good ones at any point in time...sheer luck.

Sometimes, I think people look dumber than what they might be just because of the way segments end up coming together, especially when you consider the LIVE component of things. Then also, I think that people play roles sometimes instead of having something that they believe in, they are told what position to have. And maybe a guy ends up looking like a tool or looking like a hypocrite because the producers say, "Hey, we need someone to be the anti-What Ever Team."

So, what you're saying is, Desmond's not only bad at his job but he's a sellout too? 

Sorry, I don't like him. I can handle Corso being lost and befuddled. I can't handle Howard's view of practically anything. If he's being told to say that much stupid sh#t, he needs to stand up for himself.
