Pretty easy here. Proven play makers get the nod over those with potential and high ceilings, until proven otherwise. Every time. It is this same reason that most are NOT predicting Missouri to do as well this year. They have a lot of high ceilings and potential, but unproven and inexperienced.

Four big 12 teams aren't making the cut (KSU, KU, ISU, Baylor), and one more on the verge, sitting uncomfortably at #40 (CU).

If we win our first five games it won't matter. Tall order, but I agree. And, I've said it before, I'll say it again. Preseason rankings and hype are nice since we have so little else to talk about, but I really prefer to see the list at the end of the year. Till then, it's all collective speculation.
