    So when I am bored (always) and lonely (always) I look at homes online...soooo homes are basically free in Birmingham and Montgomery Alabama...with in-ground pools.  Anyone ever live there?

      Was at a place for 15-16 years and then my job (like 90% of my colleagues, 90% of the knowledge) was given to an Indian company with a proven track record of not fulfilling their contractural obligations.  Since that time, 3rd job in 5 years.

    Just put in my notice at my job a month in advance. Told by my boss that I should have trusted them more and told them sooner. Also told by my boss I might lose my benefits because I'm only part time during the summer. Take home message: Don't notify employer in advance that you're leaving, just stop showing up. What BS.
