At least they beat the rival and there is an actual football stadium involved in their bowl, which they must be thrilled about being in one at all.  Plus game weather won't be a factor.

Agree with the coaching decisions being head scratching in this one.  But, hey, it's a football game.  And if you like defense, which I do, it was entertaining for what it was.

Yeah, the defense was good on both sides. But I wanted to see Mills get loose. Just seems like GC shoulda tried a few things to break the log jam. Not very creative.

It always seems like the time from January till football practice starts in August drags on forever but the 3 months of the Husker football season flies by so quickly.

@JJ Husker I counted three drops that could have been game changers in the third quarter. I think had we done ANYTHING to disrupt the momentum in the third and everything changes. Love the team, love the hustle, love that they're playing their hearts out right now. I think we just had some bad luck with both RBs being beat up and some drops. 

Obviously everything changes. Do we win? Idk, it's more likely. Everything after that changes though, so who knows.

Right now according to 24/7 Nebraska is 28th and Florida is 21st.  Not a great deal of separation there.

To be honest, I was very concerned he wasn't coming here for all the same reasons that article pointed out.  That was without the SEC bias that this site obviously has.  Rationally, it made a lot of sense for him to stay in Florida which makes me that much more thankful he is here.

Actually I retract my previous statement. I don't think they have to be enrolled unless there is a conference rule that says they ha e to. Nothing I read says they have to be in school after they want to transfer, just that the 5 year clock is always ticking.

I was thinking the same thing as I drove home yesterday afternoon and heard Matt say we go to Madison next Saturday.

I hope to god Jackson does not have to cover Rondale Moore too much today or it will be a really long day.

I concur, so dilly dilly.  Tiwards the end of last season I didnt even set my alarm clock for the early games and if I overslept and missed the start of the game it was like oh well.  This year im on here an hour bwfore the game with a countdown going.

It's not that I think Burrow sucks.  I think LSU just doesn't develop them well or have good game plans for any of their QB's.  Burrow is better than what he's showing, I know he is.  And yeah, he's not looked overly terrible the past few drives.

Burrows getting some talk from the booth but he's currently 10/23 for 133 yards and no TDs.  That's pretty pedestrian.

@teachercd it gets worse. She said she was going to the boneyard bash......and then to a party. And she met a football player on Friday. 1 week, 1 week and things are headed for trouble fast
