    This might be a 'well, duh' for many of you, but if you've ever had issues quoting or working with the quote function, I've just started using the BBCode Mode function. What a difference it makes.

    I'm disappointed in the suckitude coming from some of the posters here. We've plateaued on board donations at $214. Some of you use this board waaaaaay more than I do. Help them out!

    I had my ears washed today because my ear canals were closing up when I laid down or even smiled. They cleaned out ear wax chunks twice the size of baked beans. I have super human hearing now.

      You can get it done at an ENT but I just want to my general physician. I was having soar throat and ear canal problems - he looked inside and saw the build up. A nurse came in and had it all cleaned out in 5-10 minutes and she said it's very common for this to happen but people don't realize it.

    Car folks - I have a repair guy quoting me at just $1,000 (before tax) to replace spark plugs and the valve gasket covers on my Subaru Impreza. Outside of "do it yourself," does that seem like a fair price?

      Do the plugs yourself. Can't be as bad as my old Camaro, and it will save you a few bucks. Then see if you really need the gasket.

    My car started to lurch a little bit on the highway this morning. Hoping it's just a spark plug, but, has anybody ever used the Omaha Subaru dealer? Think I could get a loaner while they look at it?

      It could be that too, stumpy. I have had to leave it outside the last couple months. It did this about a year or two ago and it ended up being a spark plug so I'm keeping the fingers crossed for a similar issue.
