@man eating mastodon Thanks! I feel misinformed after all these years.
I wonder what else I might be wrong about
Please don't tell me that Sasquatch isn't real !!! I won't listen to it !
-
-
Word is some hunters in West Virginia caught him, but then the drunken hillbillies cleaned & cooked him with Natty Light. Big Foot Stew!
I don't believe it. There is no way Sasquatch could've been trapped or blasted by 12 gauge buckets and turned into chicken nuggets... Sasquatch is still walking around the back country today and posing for polaroid's !!!

WHO DEY!!! Tough schedule ahead but coach Taylor has his team looking good!!

Damn JJ that would have sucked! It definitely makes you wanna quit or do a major upgrade. We got a new walleye rig last year. Deep sides were a must for the south dakota reservoirs we fish. And full windshield and Bimini top. It's nice but ain't nothing like the Warriors and Rangers that are all over up there but I wasn't spending 100k on a boat.

Wind came up in a hurry. When I got over to boat ramp there were over a dozen boats waiting to load. I dropped my wife and son on the windward beach. Kept taking big waves as I was beached. Thought the sump pump was running but when my dad (who I inherited the boat from) re-wired things he mislabeled the live well pump with the sump so I wasn’t getting rid of any water. Went back to get in line for the ramp, it filled up and rolled over. I was maybe 40 yards from shore, didn’t think to actually put on my life jacket. Luckily another boat threw me one. It was a full s#!tshow
Luckily insurance covered most of my lost gear and then I sold the boat. We’re obviously not boat people.

Finished with my covid vacation, the first 2 days was a headache and lost my taste and smell, still haven't gotten that back,, 2 days of body aches and the rest was a mild head cold. Social distancing, wearing my mask religiously and being a hermit didn't keep me from getting it.

glad your covid experience wasn't harsh. my insurance agent started feeling bad on a thursday 2 weeks ago. he got tested that friday and was positive. felt bad on saturday and went to the hospital . he died that sunday morning.
my sister in law and 2 of her kids got it (she got it from her kids who got it at school) and they are fine. they had mild cases. and my sister and her husband and their only daughter also got it. they didn't go to the hospital but it knocked them all pretty hard. they have recovered now

I tested positive last week. Symptoms started Monday night - headache, sneezing, runny nose, lot of sinus pressure. Rapid test on Wed - positive. Much like a sinus infection or head cold. Didn’t lose taste or smell. Some people I know had it months ago and they still don’t have them back. Sick for only like 3 days really but had “brain fog” until yesterday. Only lingering symptom is some fatigue. I definitely had a mild case. Glad to hear you’re doing better.

There was definitely a oh s#!t moment when I got the call saying I was positive, my lungs are not the best, @commandoI'm sorry your agent passed and man it happened fast, take care of yourselves people this s#!t ain't no joke

Any one here ever try transplanting raspberry bushes? Any secrets besides digging holes?

Echo that @commando, leaves or grass. It’s recommended during the fall, but at this point of summer it won’t hurt to re-plant now and begin watering. @man eating mastodon

TBH, I probably don't completely understand a lot of the rules my business may be subject to. A lot of the stuff doesn't apply to employers with less than 50 employees....some does. I just try to use common sense. When/If that isn't good enough for somebody, they can have the frikken keys. The government sure isn't proactive in providing guidance and I gave up worrying about it long ago.

FWIW we just wrapped up a monthly conference call and our head of HR/VP of legal said we have one confirmed case in the company, but didn't give details of where they work or who they are (we're pretty national). But, they did say they will be contacting any colleagues that may have been in contact with that person.

I am privy to certain health issues with employees due to our health insurance benefit. However, I could get sued if I told someone else that information. What I don't know is, how does that change if the health issue puts has put other employees at risk. I still don't think I can tell the employees without consent from the sick individual. And...for my benefit, that better be in writing. Now, the health care provider/DHHS should be doing an investigation as to who the employee came in contact with, for which THEY would then notify the coworkers.

Best unbiased news source??

C-SPAN is what all news should be. While I get my news from a variety of other outlets, this is the only one I am willing to endorse. I encourage anyone that is getting news from other outlets to try it out. IMO, you will be surprised how difficult it is to listen to other national outlets afterward, especially Fox and MSNBC. Another tip is to realize news in a 24/7 format results in mostly irrelevant information and sensationalization of stories.
