    Curious what NFL team drafts Ameer. Teams who have urgent needs at RB include: Jacksonville, St. Louis, Minnesota, Baltimore, and New England.

      Gurley will probably be #2, even with injury….kid from Indiana is also projected as top 3 RB… AA will land in a good situation. He may end up as late 2nd round with a good team..

      He is a great coach, and will do great things. I felt like I was watching a Red Carpet interview, rather than a coaching presser.. Also, he sure looked like he had one too many Red Bulls. He was all over the place.

      I was actually pretty surprised that he played in the bowl game. He had nothing to gain. I agree that he didn't "impress' this year, like last year, but his stock will never be higher.

      backpedaling…. only said that maybe an "offer" maybe wasn't made, but the interest was asked either via agent or face to face. I can backpedal way better than that.

      He may not have made contact, but I from more than reasonably good source that he was in deed the first "target"…maybe his agent said no right out of the gate, but he was who SE wanted.

      He was first target…agree or not, not going to get into "pissing" match on sources…. but as I have eluded to a fe other times….in the 10 or so years on HB, I haven't claimed to be "in the know"…. but I KNOW 100% he was first target.

      Maybe no OFFER, but yes, he was first contact and choice. That has been widely known on board and I do know he was first target.

    Although I don't respect or support "how" Bo went on a rampage and involved the players in "his" problem…. so let me say it again…… I don't agree with Bo… but, the message he sent was exactly the SAME thing some of us, including former players have been saying all along… Bo didn't have a chance once SE came in….       Agree to disagree, in the all of the years on HB, I have never played " I know a guy, who knows a guy" card or have mentioned proximity to MAJOR people….. not going too disclose anything….but again, I know what I know, and confident on this topic.

      For everyone who thinks this was a "winning" issue really doesn't see the true picture. Yes, we needed to win at least a few of the BIG games, but this runs so much deeper. Believe what you want, and yes, there is some truth to that, but I know what I know, and HP is the sole reason Bo is gone….and yes, Bo made it really easy. Point will show, if MR only wins 7-8 games over next 3 years.

      Zoogies….Pearlman's conflict with Bo has much to do with TO as it does Bo himself…this is why no ties to the TO staff be retained….Bo didn't do himself any favors, but had deck against him since day 1

    Just putting it out there… I am going to say that there is 0% chance of anyone long ties to former staffs… Farther back than Pelini…. will not be retained. Someone very high up in the University is trying to eliminate anyone with ties to a certain coach, whom this higher up is red-eyed jealous of…. So long Ron Brown….. just from a former player and tied to University

      I really hope I am wrong, because I am a huge Ron Brown fan…. fortunate enough to have had a few sit downs with him. He is great for the University. Let me re-phrase.. I really hope the person who gave the info is wrong. We will have to wait to see.
