    Are people really not excited to play USC in SD? It's not like we were *just* at the Holiday Bowl or *just* played USC. It's been some time since either of those. Would you rather sit at home like Michigan?

    The amount of people wanting to fire a university chancellor over a football coach is completely insane.

    Riley knew that, but everyone also knew that that major change wouldn't include firing Riley, as the University couldn't afford to pay him for 7 more seasons, as they were contractually obligated to do so, unless someone else paid the buyout bill. And it had come to the point where some of his assistants could not continue, though that's the kind of change Riley didn't want to make.

      I think he may be saying that Riley may have worn out his welcome in OSU, and that some of his assistants…..DC..(cough cough) needed to be fired, but Riley was too loyal…..soooo,.. Coming to Nebraska was an easy way out of a situation that was getting tougher day by day…. then he decides to bring those guys here….just trying to decipher the poetry of Powerwagon?

    This whole week has been a nightmare for some….( ok, me)…. I didn't want Bo gone….then, search gets me excited……then I hear the name, Mike Riley…..depressed again…..listened to him and learned more, so excited again….. now hearing rumors about MOST of OSU staff joining him….scared to death again…. I need motion sickness medicine for this roller coaster I am riding. Please hire a NEW OC and DC.

I know that I am against the entire move, but if we could get SHAW, I would friggin do cartwheels. He has been my #1 choice, over the years whenever someone would ask me who my "dream" coach would be !!! PLEASE !

      We all have our opinions, and I didn't start this to argue my OPINION vs anyone else's. I am a David Shaw fan, others may not be…..so be it. I personally would be happy to have him….no matter who the hire is, we aren't going to get 100% approval

      Agreed on the shot-gun, but they are still known as a power running football team. This is the team that no one in the PAC 12 ever wants to play, because of their style.

      I understand the Harbaugh recruits..compared to Bo winning with BC recruits and Solich with TO recruits….and it has merit…but his teams play Big 10 style - Nebraska style smash mouth football… He could turn Stanton into Luck…same mold…He winning with STUDENTS, more than athletes.

      DAMN IT… I knew I would screw it up…KETV….there, fixed. Sean Callahan said that Shaw was the new "hot" internet rumor….didn't anyone else see it ? I'm not drinking. Nor trying to say that he is coming, just re-stating what an omaha news station reported.

      yes...sorry.....he did have 2 of 3.... but in a mid-major.... again....not being sarcastic....I need more than an upward trend in a lesser league... Would he bring the recruiting clout into the living room?
