Cool story @Dilly Dilly.  It takes a special person to BE this type of person in the moment.  Very special.

I guess I'm not as good a person as the guy in the story.  I might try to rescue the snake once.  But if it bit me and I dropped it back in the fire, I don't think I'd try again.  It's *my* nature not to get bitten twice.  That, and I don't particularly like snakes.  lol 

I offered my truck to two neighbors for this morning to haul their brush piles away.  I was just going to let them use my truck but decided this morning I better drive.  I have a lot of things I need to get done today and wanted to get this task out of the way.  Neither one made an effort to be home so I hauled them myself.  Now I'm icing my knee that's been bothering me.  I'm going to tell them they can fill up my truck with gas if they want to thank me.

Love it.  Brook was such a stand up guy.

@Waldo I’m not bitter and don’t really care all that much. I’d just prefer to see some new/other teams involved. That’s not butthurt, it’s just a preference. The Super Bowl lately has become the New England Patriots vs the latest NFC pretender. Much like Bama in the CFB playoffs. Go ahead and embrace it if you like. It’s worn extremely thin for me.

I can respect that. I think the QB play in the NFL is as low as it's been in 15-20 years, which has also spoiled it for me.

I saw them in Austin earlier this tour, and will see them Wed here in San Anto.  I was bummed that Adler won't be on the drums and considered not going because of that.  My daughter is a drummer, like her mom, and hasn't got to see him.  I have seen Slayer so many times that to me, the current lineup isn't Slayer per say IMO.  But, with a huge production budget they make it seem that way.  No one can replace Dave Lombardo. NOBODY! 

I'll catch them on their next final tour.

This is the first time I have seen Slayer without Dave and Jeff. Bostaph and Holt fill in really well, but They aren't Dave and Jeff. It was a great show, but the last 30 minutes of the concert it poured down rain on us.   I enjoyed watching Testament and Lamb of God almost as mu as Slayer.

I watched this segment last night.  It was good, but it was kinda creepy that the bowling coach ended up marrying a former player of his from the early 90s.

It was an enjoyable segment.  I have met the two of them many times in the past.  I think he was coaching (volunteering), his wife to be, since she was 15 years old.  About 21 years age difference..oh my, if we all could be that lucky.

I thought Stipe won rounds 2 and 3, although round 2 was close. And he was definitely winning round 4. It was a good fight though. Surprised DC didnt try to wrestle more. Think his ego and wanting to go out with a bang, with an actual interesting fight, may have gotten best of him.

I was watching on a really bad stream but it looked like DC was up 3-0 or 2-1 headed to the 4th. He didnt seem concerned with Stipe's power but for every shot Stipe threw, DC was hitting him with Counters. Stipe lack of movement almost caught him.... but, the body shot started everything in motion and i greatly enjoyed watching DC get put down.
