Foo Fighters have canceled their summer tour.  Bummer.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Foo Fighters were done, at least for a few years.

@Decoy73 Yeah I had a similar response to you to the first one. Just a very sore arm. I was shocked by how hard the second one hit me. Definitely a good immune response but it destroyed me yesterday. Hope today/tomorrow go smoothly for you!

@knapplc From what I gather symptoms vary pretty wildly from person to person but if you don't have shortness of breath the fatigue is the worst. Obviously I don't have anything to complain about compared to anyone who got the disease. Hope you recover as quickly as possible with no long term symptoms man.

@Danny Bateman The variety of symptoms person to person is the oddest thing about this disease. You could talk to ten people and they'd have ten different varieties of the dozen symptoms associated with this junk. It's really odd.

@knapplc That sucks.  Best of luck with the recovery.  I know a few people who have had the long lasting fatigue.  It eventually has gotten better for them.  Hopefully there's not other effects you're dealing with too.  Then there's the long lasting lack of taste/smell.  My brother had that for about two to three months before it got better.  A couple others I know complained of unusually fast hear rates with only moderate exercise post-covid.  And then the whole "long Covid" thing. Geez. Strange disease indeed.

Crap ... it's about that time isn't it.  My month of August has disappeared.  Especially without "real" football to look forward to.

If there's sufficient interest I'd be down to do one. If not with everything going on that's OK too. Just thought I'd check.

@Danny Bateman   word of caution. I had one very similar to this that had a little white tube hooking to the water line. Woke up one morning around 1am to the sound of water and the carpet outside of my bathroom was wet and there was about an inch of water in there. It had become disconnected from the bidet and there wasn't any mechanism to stop it from just continuing to run.

@JJ Husker  the cold water doesn't feel as bad as you'd think back there.

Anyhow, I really liked it before all that happened and I want to get a real one once I have a house.

The Long Road was the last Nickelback album I enjoyed. All the Right Reasons was OK but they lost me after that one.

Amen on all of that @Xmas32. Thanks for the tip on that 30 for 30. Been meaning to watch more of those. Loved the one on Tommy Morrison. 

It also help that MMA is on multiple times a week now. Tonight they've got a new Contender Series episode with 5 fights. There are frequently Bellator tourneys on Thursdays in regular times. And Fight Nights or UFC ___ most weekends. They've done an excellent job promoting their sport and filling the vacuum left as boxing has waned.

@JJ Husker I love watching old boxing matches. Ali is like watching a piece of art being created; smooth, agile, and creative, he gets in you head psychologically. Tyson is a thing of terror; pure rage with manic power and speed, he's in your head because he's scary as s#!t.

4 Noses Brewery in Broomfield is really good. I've liked everything I've tried of theirs.

@deedsker Santa Fe Brewing is very underrated. I don't like coffee-flavored beer, but I really like their IPAs and their seasonals (Farmhouse Ale and Winter something were excellent).

@RedDenver Never had any of their other stuff. I make sure to get some java stout when I visit Colorado. Never been to New Mexico and haven’t found it elsewhere.

We've been told the site has to allow ads to monetarily function.  How and why would it then pay to advertise when it doesn't sell anything (besides ad space)? Is it like paying a credit card bill by perpetually charging another credit card?

Obviously, the logical solution is for HB to create more screen space on which to sell impressions and then to advertise itself more in said spaces. It will be like viewing a mirror in a mirror. No need to be concerned if the site is functional or has any content as long as people can see ever increasing ads.

Digital economics is the new rocket science.

So far, I only know of one local restaurant that has closed for good and they were relatively new, only a couple years old.

My only experience is them calling out of the blue claiming my new trucks warranty is about to expire after a week and maybe 200 miles.  Now they just robo dial me once a week claiming this will be their last call, but I know it wont be.

See if they require photos of broken or worn out parts.  Happened to a coworker on some leaking AC hoses.  Just because they say they cover a part doesn't mean they'll make it straight forward to get any money out of them.  They've always given off a scammy feel to me.  I go the self insured route.

I'm not sure how silimar their offense is to ours anymore.  But similar enough to get a feel.

Someone said the same thing about Memphis against Penn State.  The Tigers offense looked pretty good.

Personally I'm not on Team "That O won't work in the Big 10." But I agree it's not a perfectly analogous offense either.

Should be a good game either way.
