Sounds like ads are a lot worse on phones than on computers.  I generally use a computer on this site.  

I had no problems until today. The ad takes up about 2/3 of the screen on mobile.  No problems about it on computer.

I've stopped trying to visit the board from my phone.

I didn't fully realize how bad the talent gap was until that composite recruiting rankings came out and we found out OSU was #2 with like 60 4- and 5-star players on its roster.

We're a distant fourth behind Penn State (#10) and Michigan (#11) and ahead of Wiscy (#33) who seems to consistently more with less. But hey, we're #24 so it's not that bad. Still, gonna have to learn to compete with those top 3 or really kick a$$ at development like Wiscy if we're gonna be relevant.

It's a Jimmies and Joes problem at this point, not Xs and Os. Thanks Riley!

@Danny Bateman Have you looked at the rankings for this year's class yet? We're currently #30, behind Wisconsin, Iowa, and Purdue, and one spot above Northwestern.

Our average recruit rating is a bit higher than theirs, but still behind the big boys of the conference. I'd like to see the average get up over 89, which is the minimum line for a 4* rating.

@Toe Yep. Clearly still struggling a bit. Nebraska has always been a difficult place to recruit, except maybe in the TO era. He had the added benefit of partial qualifiers, which meant getting a lot of excellent athletes who struggled in the classroom to campus.

Clearly Frost has been good for recruiting but we've got a lot of work to do yet. Success on the field begets success bringing more talent. We've got to continue scratching out wins, close & ugly if need be. Finishing 4-2 down the homemstretch would mean a chance at a 9-win season, a good bowl game and would do a ton of good recruiting, IMO.

I had 1 pitcher of Kool-Aid before the season started.  Just one.  What a mess it makes.  Never again.  If they win a NC, I'll still contend that they aren't very good.

I told myself that I wouldn't get caught up in the hype.  Not this time.  That Nebraska and the Big 10 just weren't the same situation as UCF.   But the Kool-Aid was too irresistible.  So I drank.  And now I need to find a good twelve step program.

The one thing I can appreciate about Callahan, Pelini, and Riley is that they never put the school through major NCAA violations or scandals.  There wasn't anything hanging over the program when we hired the next coach.

Agreed with others that OSU took their time on purpose. The longer they took to make a decision, the longer people had to forget. Smart strategy if all you care about is winning football games. 

I think Urbs gets a time served penalty, his wife quietly gets put on administrative leave for the fall semester and then comes back and everyone feels really dirty about it.  I wouldn't be entirely shocked if Gene Smith announces his retirement effective next year.

The longer they take the more dirt McMurphy will reveal.  BM's the real victor here.

This is the weirdest feature on the board

It's a feature where you visit a poster's profile and post a status aimed at them.  For example, I could go on 4skers89's profile page and post a status towards the top where it says:  "Write a public message on 4skers89's feed..."

The status would show up on HB's front page as, "NUance > 4skers89"

By copying (badly) other people's stuff, and buying out everyone else.  Their stuff is mostly garbage.

I don't understand how people can keep using their stuff, let alone paying for it. Drop Windows and Office and your life will be much easier.
