Smells Like Teen Spirit...my HS was in the same league as the school where that was filmed - Cobain’s HS in Aberdeen WA. A small, rainy blue-collar town right by the coast. It was a little crazy as a 3rd grader when my classmate showed up in black and Cobain t-shirt mourning his death. I won’t forget that, the guy was a legend to grunge culture and a junkie to others.

I know some people will argue that Nirvana wasn’t that great or that others defined the genre better but there is no denying that Smells Like Teen Spirit, more than any other song, signified a huge paradigm shift in music. Probably the biggest thing musically in my lifetime. I like Nirvana but I’m not saying this out of some weird personal grunge preference, it’s just a fact that it was a significant change.
