My wife is starting her final semester of grad school. We just got back from Florida for the week too.

God no. Why would a person ever eat at a K-Mart?  The few occasions I was actually in a K-Mart, my only motivation was to get out of there as fast as possible......just like WalMart. 

And like @NUance, I've never even heard of Venture stores.

iirc, the free standing kmart in hastings had the cafeteria and i may have eaten at it. it was long ago, but who really remembers meals like that. when they moved it to the mall it had little caesars in it.

does working in a venture count? never really shopped in it except when i was given gift cards.

@krc1995 the thing is, we as fans have no control over GameDay selections or how the team performs on any given Saturday. None of us should be embarrassed by anything the football team does or for  things beyond our control. Maybe I'm in a mood but it just seems like superfluous complaining. I'd welcome the OU game being GameDay at Norman. I'm done feeling bad about this team. They'll either get their s#!t together or they won't. It's completely out of your or my control. /end rant

@JJ HuskerKind of feel like your complaining about me not wanting one. Buts all good. I’d watch if there is one. But do many watch anymore anyway? I used to religiously, but now I may or may not, checkout Twitter for Gameday signs and that’s about the extent of it. I guess CFB’s fun when your winning. 

@krc1995 I guess I was . I tune it in most Saturdays but wouldn't say I watch it closely. Just enough to weekly reaffirm that Desmond is an idiot and that Corso should probably not be allowed out on his own

@JJ Husker   Yeah!  I will bring my ghetto blaster to the track field, and do stairs between plays.  Got to do my part and get into "true Husker fan" conditioning during Spring and Summer

@The Dude Yes, my comments were more about the dirt and dust settling on it.  I live in the country and the wind blows.  Sometimes it's dusty.  I've never owned one so I've always envisioned dust caking on the slightly greasy surface.  I do like the idea of putting a piece of plywood on top.  That would solve that problem.

As far as wings, I'm a traditionalist with some things like BBQ and smoking.  I like my wings over charcoal so they have a slight smoky flavor.  For some reason, I just can't get myself to purchase an airfyer.

Are you speaking of a cast iron hibachi style cook top? I hated mine. Propane style, large cooking surface. I found it hard to clean. And the cast iron left a grit on things. 
 

what I would really like is a steel top with a large vat to push off residue. I’m sure it exists, I just don’t have one.

Covid-19 O'clock

I am sure it was brought up to the school more than a few times. It would be shocking if it hadn't. 

We fight to get the 6AM slot so we can go right to our OTA's afterwards before the Summer heat gets too much.  We allow flexibility and have had other sports (even girls) come to our workouts if it did not fit their schedule.  

WIth uniforms we are on a cycle, but individual sport fundraising can help with the quality of gear we get.  Golf Tournaments, Card Sales, etc can go to the budget and allow you to get better equipment/gear.  

With gym use we rotate boys and girls weekly for use of the big gym for bball and whatnot.  

Just because most schools allow the coaches to pick weight room times, order equipment, pick the gyms to use...etc, doesn't mean this school is doing that.  

If it's that way here, it will come out.  If the administration is somehow dictating tat with what they allocate for girls sports compared to boys, that will come out too.

If you know anything about Rush, what he is saying is probably 100% true.  Dude has probably seen it all in the south.  I think he also has a DVD you can buy on how to build a winning team!

It is not really a business to the players.  But imagine it, coach comes in and tells them "Go have a meeting and decide my fate" so the players go have a meeting...if only 1 or 2 players want him gone, is that enough?  Will they speak up?  If they do, and the rest of the team votes that he should stay, look at what you have created.  A team that is no longer on the same page.  

Now, more than likely none of them really cared all that much so it doesn't really matter.  But it is still a really crappy thing to put on your team.  This is not like they are voting on which new team hoodie to get.  They are voting on a man's life and legacy. 

For myself,  I would not want that dumped on me.

I'm with @Xmas32, just glad they let him coach last night. Nova -5.5......like candy from a baby.

I took Nova -3 first half line.  That was like taking a nice stroll on a plantation.  

Went to see the movie Career Opportunities. I still don't know how that movie ended.

6th grade.  Flinstones movie.  My friend's girlfriend was trying to set up her friend.  I think the nice way of saying it is she had a great personality.  I heard she liked me but there was no 2nd date.

Went to see toy story with my girlfriend and her mom and brother.  We ended up making out in the parking lot when her mom and brother went to go get something from the gas station.  She is not the library teacher at our old high school and i saw her when i took my daughter there for orentation.

This should've been made into a movie and I'm so disappointed it never was:
