  1. Yes I will confirm, Bobby is headed to BC. Bobby loved Nebraska and was seriously considering them up until he made his decision. IMO, one of the big things that swayed him to BC was the fact his best friend and older brother Clay, who plays football for Holy Cross, is now just right down the road. Thank you to all who have spoken so well of Bobby on this board. Nebraska is truly a one of a kind place and I for one would have been very happy for him to go there. Take care, Bass PS. Lost wages - I will stop by from time it time and check in.
  2. I can tell you Nebraska will take 3 WR in this class. Bobby is getting close to deciding & I honestly do not know what school he will choose. As said before he really can't make a bad decision. Based on my shirt, I think it is clear where I would like him to go. Lost Wages, I will stick around regardless.
  3. Thanks for asking & the kind words. Bobby is doing great & itching to get back on the field. Obviously at first he was not happy about not being able to play.... but he has embraced his leadership role and is coaching his younger replacement & his teammates in reading coverages & knowing what to expect & what to do on both sides of the ball. When the Doctor gives him the OK, he will be ready to go. The team is still rated # 1 in the State of Ohio in Div II with an 8-0 record. Bobby expects to be able to return for the playoffs and do what he was born to do... WIN.
  4. Football is his focus, but yes he is planning to give it a try and play both sports. He plays SS. Now for some sad news: As some of you may have read or (notice the boot at the game), Bobby injured his foot a few weeks back. It was not getting better so when we got back from Nebraska he went to a Ortho specialist. It was not required, but the best course of action for this injury was surgery. He had it done Thurs AM & the Doctor said it went fine and he will be back to 100% very soon. Bobby was hoping to return to the field in time for the playoffs, but his health will / must be the first priority & whatever the Dr says will be the course he takes. We are currently the #1 rated team in Div II in the state & Bobby is very disappointed that he may not get a change to compete for a championship. We have spoken with the coaches of his top College choices (including Nebraska) and the injury does NOT effect his scholarship offers. I know there will be many who wish him well and a speedy recovery so in advance. Thanks for the kind works & thoughts.
  5. Alex, Be happy to.... They have a complete schedule set for the recruit when you get here. You meet with and discuss with various leaders involved with the program. We met with and had detailed discussion with multiple people on this trip. Each one about 1/2 hour or so. In our case our Itinerary included meetings with: Mike Anderson and Eric Newman - Baseball Coaches Ted Gilmore - WR Coach James Dobson - Strength & Conditioning coach Dr Tom Osbourne - Athletic Director Bo Pelini - Head Coach Dennis Leblanc - Academics Keith Zimmer - Life Skills We enjoyed the trip and learned so much about what it means to be a HUSKER.
  6. Here is a picture of Bobby & one of his best friends & teammates Jordan Mcquilkin who traveled with us.
  7. Anyone want an autograph? Anyway, what can I say... WOW!!!! The infamous gameday atmosphere in Lincoln is ever better than advertised. The place blew us away. As has been confirmed and noted already Bobby did not commit. His plan all along is to visit all of his top schools and then decide. Nov time frame probably. I can say everything he saw and everyone he talked with, ALL made a very positive impression on him and his family. Nebraska in the clubhouse with a course record 10 under par.
  8. Also is there any unique Nebraska pre-game fan activities or tailgating customs?
  9. Bobby's team is rank currently ranked # 1 in the State in Ohio Div II with a 4-0 record. Last week he was 27-of-47 for 252 yards & a TD all on a sprained right wheel. http://fridaynightohio.com/news/late-field...st-canton-south
  10. Very happy to say we have just finalized the official visit date. Bobby will be at the 300th straight sell out on the 26th.
  11. Yes I believe he will visit. The 300th sellout on the 26th, looks promising. IMHO, Bobby fits Nebraska like a glove.
  12. Bobby had a very nice game last night. He was 17 -24 for 240 yds and 5 TD and no INT. On Defense, he made a couple of tackles and blocked a XP. For the second straight game the opposing team never threw a pass in his direction. Ohio.com - Leopards' Swigert shows stuff as QB
  13. Thank you for the kind words & yes we are very proud of him.
