Remember those Nerf bow and arrows?  I threw an absolute tantrum when my parents didn't get me one at Walmart when I was like 10.  I still cringe thinking about it.

They ended up getting me one later.  It was alright.

Well-deserved.  Early in the season it was looking like this might be Hoiberg's final season with the Huskers.  Quite an amazing turnaround.   

I'm going to hold off on overreacting until it's official.

Yes, without a moment's hesitation.  You hire the significantly better coach 100% of the time. 

There's zero good reason to take a chance on a "wait-and-see" guy if you have a home run hire lined up.  

I don't necessarily agree with the premise that if he is interested he's only interested for one year.  It's much more likely he wouldn't be interested at all.

Even if he is only here a year, that means he did a really good job and someone poached him.

I mean, there's something like a 0% chance we land Raiola without NIL.

A lot of good players seem to have no problem signing up to play for Satterfield.   I'd like to see him get his redemption in year 2.

That being said, if Holgorsen is truly interested in the OC job, then obviously you hire him.  That's an easy decision to make.  Football is a meritocracy, afterall.

I just have my doubts he's interested in being Nebraska's OC.

I wish Husker fans on social media would stop trying to make this about Tom Osborne.   I didn't want to cringe this much today.

All of a sudden we appear to be loaded on offense for next season.

I've seen everything from #1 player in the country to #4 QB.  I just know I'd take him over any other high school player in the country.  Still kinda can't believe it.
