Well thanks @The Dude got me started on the Sopranos...again. I've got all the DVDs but just figured out it's on Amazon Prime so am watching it that way on my iPad so my wife can watch whatever stupid Hallmarkish thing she wants on TV for awhile   I'd never noticed before you mentioned it but yeah, Tony looks much younger in the pilot than he does in the 2nd episode. Didn't realize the pilot was done that much earlier.

@The Dude Hulu has the first 2 seasons of Rick and Morty, will probably have season 3 up soon as it hust wrapped up.  It's the smartest show on TV, and I mean that sincerely.  Even though it looks abdolutely stupid at first glance.

The Conjuring 2 was pretty good. My favorite of the year has probably been The Witch.

And to be fair most of the good movies are usually released in fall and winter.

Lets not get carried away. They are good to some degree and they would have beaten Portland, Min and SA out west. They aren't world beaters but I wouldn't say they aren't good in any way shape or form.

That said most playoff FG in 6 less games than the previous record holder has very little to do with playing these Celtics

21 yo Jaylen Brown is your best player and leading scorer....enough said there. Stevens made IT look like an MVP and then see what he was when he played with the Cavs and Lakers. Again, talent wise this team is not good.

Not trying to prop up lebron here because Marcus Morris or whoever they can put on him is not elite and the Cavs should win this series, but Boston is better than you give them credit for. I honestly think they match up better against the Warriors. But Cavs will win and get destroyed in the finals.

God Cowherd is such a flip flopper. He's worse than any politician this country has ever had. I listened to him 1 week ago talk about Nebraska as having no chance and actually being a joke as Michigan St best win. And now this is coming off of arguably our most sluggish win of the year.

Count, he capped off his Nebraska talk with "remember, it's not about being thr best team, it's about when you lose and winning at the right time". He mostly just liked where we sat and the schedule in front of us.

It was a perfect hire and possibly the only one that will accomplish what Husker nation desires.

As far as the defense, I’m not convinced it’s as bad as everyone seems to think. We’ll have different players and for the most part we won’t be facing the same offensive mindsets that UCF did. I thought his D played hard and aggressive, which would be a huge improvement for Nebraska. Just have to tackle better and limit the long ball plays and the B1G isn’t particularly known for wildly slinging it around the yard. I might be wrong but I thought their rush D was half way respectable.

Danzig has a better voice than Elvis, although he is pretty heavy on the Elvis worship. haha

@GSG  A few years ago a bottle rocket landed on my deck.  I would agree fireworks should be outlawed but every year some idiots get injured so I think things work out.  Larger fireworks with short fuses is the solution.

I echo what Mav and others said about Twitter being a news vehicle which is what I use it for in regards to quick news on sports/recruiting/etc.  I'm a heavy user of LinkedIn due to my job but even that is starting to get annoying..granted that's my own doing as I have lots of connections so my feed is going to be pretty clogged.  I've never signed up for FB but might have to for work purposes (making sure anyone my clients hire isn't a crazy person in private).

I still prefer the traditional newspaper, I'm one of those weirdos who gets a couple newspapers each day still.

I've been able to tolerate AC/DC over the years..but never bothered to listen to the one CD I had of theirs..(Greatest Hits?a)...But whenever Nickelsback or Volbeat come on the radio..My Son and I usually sprain fingers trying to change the station before we hear the second note...

Little Miss Sunshine was a treasure, NUance! Anything from Edgar Wright is worth checking out. Visually funny movies, not just saying funny things. Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz are two of my favorites. I see The World's End has already been mentioned.

The same thing happened to ESPN, it's hot garbage now. Less facts and stats more tweets and fashion faux pas. Like an hour or 2 of sports things people actually care about, followed by poo.

I avoid all the news I can, whether the 24 hour variety or the 30 minute or 1 hour local news. 95% of it is just super depressing and 75% of it is sh#t I don't need to know about. I'm much happier when I don't see any news. I don't feel like I'm missing anything important and, if I am, I don't care.

I'm not too worried about them being mad. They just as easily could have doubts and the thought that if Purdue beat them then anyone could. I mean it still could get ugly for NU if our defense doesn't do a better job than they have all year but I'm not too worried about our offense being able to move the ball. I expect a high scoring shootout that will come down to whether or not we can make a few stops or get some turnovers. If we turn it over and can't stop them, then it might get ugly.

It's not relevant whether they're mad.  They scored 56+ points on us each of the last 3 times we played them and they weren't "mad" then. So what if they score 70 on us instead of 56?

I should've become a sports writer or a weather forecaster. What other professions do you get paid a lot of money for being wrong so much?

No way MSU beats us. The only way they beat us, is if their defense scores 20+ on us. Iowa could very well be a trap game for us. Remember, we don't have a great history with a Greg Davis offense. This year he has somewhat of a QB he is use to utilizing while have a monster RB in Weisman.

Doubt it Nick. Sherman completely erases one half of the field. Peyton didn't even look his way for nearly every snap. Doesn't matter what kind of talent is on the other side/at safety, that half of the field is gone soley because he's there.
