    Mike Riley had a regular season record if 18-18 in his 3 year stint at Nebraska.   Frost can match that with a 9-3 record next year.

      Of course my opinion was different before Callahan. The only question before then was if we'd only win 10 games. Single digits weren't an option. 80's and 90's it was pretty much a let down if we weren't playing for a natty.

      I think Frost can match Riley's win total.   He'll have to do a considerably better coaching job than he has since he got his payday, but it's possible.

    One attainable goal for winter S&C is getting full depth on squats.  1/4 squats probably cost us 4 games this year.

      I agree to an extent. Here the problem with S&C guys these days. They are ALL trying to be revolutionary for one thing.....clout. It's awful. 

       

      Quarter squats don't put you in a position to "push through when it gets tough"....lifting should always be about that quoted line right there. When you hit the wall, you flipping SLAM through it.

    It's safe to say the move to a 3-4 defense hasn't been the magic bullet so many were hoping for, but I'd go so far as to say this experiment has been and abysmal failure.   But I'm not sure we're ready to have that conversation yet.

      I do not support changing the scheme at this time.  There are very successful teams in the Big Ten that run a 3-4.  I don't see how that's the problem.

      Last night and Illinois were definitely sweatfests but I'm enjoying the ride. Our talent level is obviously depleted but he's fixing that and we're definitely headed in the right direction.
