No inside info here Chaddy. But I am hearing a lot of info from the "Inside" and most if not all is all BS

  2. I don't think some of you guys understand how serious Eichorst is going to take this...
  3. I'm not a Twitter guy, have any of the players tweeted anything about this?
  4. And this ladies in gentlemen is the beginning stages of our coaching change. Do I blame coach for those feelings? Absolutely not. Will it negatively effect fans/boosters/administrations view of him moving forward? Absolutely yes. Although these comments are out of context of our current situation... although they were an emotional, knee jerk reaction to a crazy game... although Bo has come a long way managing his demeanor... this tape will still act as gasoline for his hot seat.
  5. THIS When did Tommy's opinion become any more relevant/respectable then anybody else. The fact that they asked Bo about it at the presser makes no sense to me. This whole situation is becoming one hell of a dumpster fire.
  6. I don't think you are in the minority. I think the vast majority of Husker Nation likes Bo as a person, and a mentor for these kids. But the bottom line is that he doesn't consistently win important games, and when you are losing games, being a great person doesn't buy you a ton of slack.
  7. He talked a lot about pressure from the culture and fans, and how it effects him, the coaching staff and the players. They are being cognizant of that pressure, and doing whatever they can to ease pressure on the kids, but he said it was difficult.
  8. Listening to Bo so far this morning, it seems that he is taking this loss and current trend of the program just as seriously as the fans are. This may be the most honest response from Bo we have seen to date. I'm glad he is taking what happened Saturday seriously, and not avoiding it with coach speak as he has done in the past. I think Bo is really feeling the urgency for success here. I'll post some quotes as the Q&A starts. Link to the stream - http://www.omaha.com/article/20130916/HUSKERS/130919034/1001

    Crowd

I was on the sideline the whole game and it was the loudest I have ever heard it in the first half. Previously, NU vs OU 2009 was the previous loudest croud ever and this was louder. I was trying to talk to people on the sideline when we were on defense and had to scream at the top of my lungs, I still couldn't even hear myself. Once the team quit, so did the fans. I don't think you can put any of that loss on the fans.
  10. It's a hard situation. After over 5 years, Bo and company hasn't learned from VERY basic mistakes in strategy and scheme. If they could get over some of these issues I do think they could be a great staff, but if they haven't figured it out over the past 5 years, how much longer do they need? Eventually something has to break. We simply cannot keep winning 9-10 games a year with a few bad loses sprinkled in. At some point we will either win a conference championship or have a losing season. Sadly I think latter of the two will come first. So the question is, how many years are we willing to wait for either the ship to completely crash (losing season, still no growth in coaching), or for these very simply things to be fixed so we can become a team that is winning conference championships. Now weigh that number against the number of years it will take for us to return to a respectable program if we cleaned house. Is it worth it? Honestly I have no idea.
  11. Jesus... looks like i will will be staying off the boards till people start taking their meds. I had a great time today. I expected a loss and got one. it is what it is, looking forward to conference play now.

Yes, they came out gangbusters and played only half of a game yet again. We might be the best 1.5 to 2 quarter team in the country but it's a 4 quarter game.

The simple fact that you expected to lose, at home, to a midling program, says all that needs to be said about what needs to be done with this joke

  12. Fun facts, the guys that worked on the update of this are my buddies Kevin and Brett. One is now a producer for the KC Chiefs and the other is rocking it a HUDL in lincoln. I remember viewing like 20 versions of this before they finally finished it. Well done fellas!
  13. Gonna be filming the players arriving to the stadium tomorrow at 8:15. Who else is gonna be there to say hi?

  14. You know, I watched essentially the quick play through of the UCLA offense and they don't seem as fast as I remember from last year. I originally thought their offense would be cramming it down our throats but I am beginning to change my tune. I think our young defense has a shot to take advantage over their young offensive line. Something else to note - I don't think Hundley has a very nice deep ball, but he has a hell of an arm for quick passes on a rope. We need to keep an eye out for quick 5 yard routes. Hopefully we can bump those receivers and keep him contained. After watching I think the speed of our secondary should be able to match the speed of their offense. I think i'm going to call for a 10 point Nebraska win.
  15. I have a man crush on Jim Mora. I think he's a great coach with some serious integrity. I was really happy once you guys tossed Slick Rick, and have been a fan every since we lost Foster and Owa to you guys a few years back. Here's to a great outing on Saturday!
  16. Guess who will be in the locker room for pregame and do the tunnel walk for the UCLA game... Memorial Stadium, it's been too long ol' friend.

I will be walking the tunnel walk, no videos from me for Saturday, just filming. It's all for BTN's The Journey. Hopefully one day soon I'll get another video up on the board.

  17. Just because I haven't seen it specified in here yet... The purpose of the tape is so that the players can see his fingers easier on sideline play calls and adjustments. Maybe they are just getting better with the calls where they don't need it. Who knows, who cares?
  18. Well Anthony Alford transferred to Ole Miss, which was arguably their biggest playmaker last year. Not sure on their big playmakers this year.
  19. More like he is our present. He's right there with Ameer.
  20. Terrible defensive scheme all night with no adjustments.
