Agnostic Atheist here and the prayer doesn't bother me at all. To me the reference to a deity is the least important part of the prayer. It's about playing as a team with integrity.

I have never seen Burtch play, so I don't have a comparison. Burtch could be a speed guy, so the comparison could be Kenny Bell. I love how when people have see a white WR, they automatically compare him to another white WR. I bet Burtch is a "great route-runner, nice possession guy, he will make the tough catches across the middle, and is also like a coach on on the field". Am I missing any other ways that announcers talk about white WR's? He's scrappy

Today, Jamal Turner said the 4th primary receiver was most likely Sam Burtch. Many might now know who Sam is, but Jamal said he was one of the best blocking wide receivers on the team. A little from Sam's bio: Walk on from Murdock Nebraska (Elmwood-Murdock High School) No recorded scholarships offered as a recuit in 2010 2012 Academic All-Big Ten Nebraska Scholar Athlete Honor Roll Played in 4 games last year Sophomore (Redshirted in 2011) I'm excited to see more young guys, especially walk ones hit the field. Keep an eye out for Sam on Saturday!
