  1. That was a hell of a tackle by their offensive lineman.
  2. I’m not one to normally blame the officials. But they are hosing us tonight.
  3. I don’t even care about returns. If we had fair caught every punt against Michigan St we would have saved a bunch of field position.
  4. I only saw the fourth quarter, but I was happy to see us actually fielding punts. Was it that way all game long?
  5. Thomas Lott from Oklahoma (I think he’s the correct one) running their wishbone did that late pitch better than anyone I’ve ever seen.
  6. I didn’t get to see last night’s game so I don’t know if it was any different. But I would really rather have the pitch man be one of our running backs as opposed to a receiver. Do love the extra dimension it brings to the offense. AM seems to be getting more polished running it too. Love the fake pitch I did see on one highlight.
  7. To me, if they still believe they are doing it correctly, and given the results, is a huge part of the problem. And I wonder if a large part of that isn’t just plain stubbornness on Frost’s part. Unwilling to take a good hard, and most importantly, objective look at the program.
  8. I’m sick of hearing about what they do in practice. It’s become glaringly obvious that what happens in the practice field is not carrying over to Saturday (which seems to exemplified by our running back usage, a guy has a solid game then we don’t see him for a couple of weeks ((Stepp?)). If they truly are practicing that well (which I really wonder about), then playing that poorly on Saturday, that’s again a coaching issue.
  9. The two common denominators in that stat, the coach and the QB.
  10. Problem is, we’ve shown no signs of fixing the mistakes.
  11. It’s like a golfer who keeps missing the ball then telling him to stay to the left. Don’t be messing with directional garbage, Just kick the damn thing and have the coverage team stay in their lanes.
  12. Problem, this such a basic fundamental of the kicking game. That shouldn’t happen at this level. Hell, middle school teams can be on the same page as to which way the punt is going. It’s just another example of how little importance is placed on special teams.
  13. When it happens over and over and over and……it is on the coaches. If it’s all about the players, then why don’t the successful programs have these same problems over and over again. It’s called discipline. And it comes from coaching.
  14. It was that trick play punt return. We were only prepared to cover punts to the right. What a choke.
  15. just couldn’t stand to watch anymore, I’ll follow along here. We just continue to find new ways to mess things up. It all comes down from the head coach.
  16. The false starts are pretty apparent too. Not much of a judgement call.
  17. Special teams couldn’t help but make a play. The snap was so bad even our guys could get there!
  18. There is no pocket for AM, roll him out and at least eliminate one side of the rush.
  19. Thank goodness he’s tough to get down back there….him shaking a tackler and breaking out of the pocket and creating is our only offense.
  20. I only got to see about 1/2 of the 2nd half. But I never saw a shot inside the 3 point line (outside of a fast break). I’m sure I probably missed some but that’s just ridiculous. Live by the three, die by the three.
  21. I don’t know how anyone expected him to throw anything deep in the 2nd half. He was engulfed by the pass rush before there was time for any receiver to actually get deep. Our OL has been better, but they got owned in this one. They (PSU) actually looked like a team with a lot of talent. How are they this bad?
  22. I’d rather have his ability out there as opposed to someone like Warner who does know the playbook well. Six of one and half dozen of another situation I guess.
  23. He damn near took the Backjudge’s head off on that throw.
