  1. only because of where he ended up GO PACK!
  2. Safety play is a huge part of why our secondary sucked last year. With Grixby and Jones the only two corners with experience, we are still pretty green at CB. I think with improved safety play we will see better pass coverage. Another Big question is who will win the starting jobs on the d-line. Cant wait till fall camp!
  3. vista works for me, i like it. i have had no issues ::knock on wood::
  4. as pointed out earlier, we never do well in columbia. i hate to say it but i think we lose this one because Daniel's boogers have steroids in them.
  5. ill be rooting very hard for both of these guys. Stew was a pretty good LB for us and B-Jax was a man amongst boys in the RB stable last year.
  6. you certainly dont, but i do enjoy reading your contradictory posts. very entertaining.
  7. so does the 61 year old make sure the 41 year old is up in time for school?
  8. im inclined to agree with hunter. however, he also knows that if he sits out, he loses the starting RB. whatever happens, happens. lets hope he doesnt really injure himself. im rootin for the guy.
  9. i like the enthusiasm. and i think we should always handle misery, but we are on a 2 game skid in Columbia. we lost there in 03 by a score of 24-41, and then we repeated that score in 05. Of course that was when they had superman Brad Smith. They say chase daniel is supposed to be real good, even though he eats his own boogers. We will see. i hope we break that losing streak.
  10. now that ive come back to reality im still stickin with my 10-2 record, with losses @Texas and @ Mizzou.
  11. whats all this chizik at 12 talk? you seriously think he should be higher on this list? isnt this his first head coaching job? All he ever did at texas and auburn was d-c duties. and that is supposed to automatically certify head coaching success? id say this list is pretty accurate. but in my opinion Gundy should be moved up a spot or two.. he is building something down there in mobilehoma, they are on the rise.
  12. what..... the..... @#%&.... well now he will take the bus... to prison.
  13. ill be there with my dad, my brother, and my brother-in-law. kind of a guys' day sort of thing. i wish my other brother-in-law could make it, but he lives in minneapolis and his job is pretty demanding of his time. im hoping the weather will be fantastic so we all can enjoy some football.
  14. how many players in the final four will have years of experience over greg oden? how many of them are better players? apples and oranges. not at all. if murrillo is a better player, those years of experience mean nothing, provided that he knows what he knows the D scheme. I'm not saying murrilo IS a better player, but just throwing out someone experience without taking to account the other talent is silly. kk comparing basketball to football is apples to oranges. and a lot of the best football players period werent the most athletically gifted, they were smart, experienced players who knew what was going on and would put themselves in the best position to make a play. damned shiny new toy syndrome.

  16. good question, but if he stays with his convictions he will fight for his right to be on the field. thats just my opinion from what i read in the articles.
  17. Thenarse's killer instinct is needed at SS. As of right now we dont know a whole lot about Asante because he has yet to play a down of D-1 Football. Either way at least we have a little depth at SS. Brian Wilson, who knows. Im curious to see where Corey Young and Anthony West end up.
  18. man yall keep blaming grixby, which isnt entirely undeserved, but doesnt anybody realize how bad our safety play was last year? even the best DB's get smoked when they are on an island all alone, which is pretty much the status quo for our corners last year. good safety play makes mediocre corners look like all conference players. just please take that into consideration before you crucify everyone's favorite scapegoat, Grixby, who has done nothing but play his @#$%ing ass off ever since he arrived on campus and showing nothing but class while everyone, including the safeties, left him for dead.
  19. ugh. My condolences to friends and family of the fallen officer.
  20. i didnt just hear it, i felt it.
  21. http://journalstar.com/blog/huskers.php Zac Bowman suffered a knee injury in a 7-on-7 drill Wednesday, and Kenny Wilson broke his leg carrying a television. The extent of Bowman's injury in not certain, Bill Callahan said. It's not the same knee he hurt last fall that caused him to miss last season. Wilson underwent surgery to repair his broken femur and will miss next season, Callahan said.
