  1. When did this change? June 2016 Ahh, must have been part of the law that changed the rules on medical cards. I missed that, thanks. I've been giving incorrect information to tourists.
  2. I live in Aurora. I'm guessing you don't know much about our Cannibis laws. Someone with a medical card can buy/possess up to two ounces at a time. Folks from out of State can buy but are limited to a quarter of an ounce at one time. (Approx 7 grams)
  3. So they can buy better weed...? I mean really, if Stanley paid only $100 for about 3/4 ounce, that's virtually Nebraska ditchweed. Sorry, I'm making somewhat light of this. I think it's ridiculous that is a felony but I also am very disappointed that so many of these young men fail to see what's more important and keep their priorities straight. If you really want to be a winner, then act like one. L O L I've been thinking this all day! If he only paid $100 for that weed it is absolutely brick schwag! I'm a college professor. I assume all of my students are on weed until they prove otherwise. If you don't smoke weed in college what are you doing? Quit wasting your life and make some bad decisions already!! The meathead athletes where I teach like to get drunk and beat up other students. That sucks bad.....but it is OK cause muscles and testosterone and stuff! Weed, though......bad choices, irresponsible, not a leader. Wrong. There is a dispensary less than a mile from where I live that sells an ounce for $95 that tests out at 24% THC.
  4. Just make sure it's good scotch and not some cheap crap like Johnny Walker Red...heh... Glenlevit on the shelf currently, maybe some Chivas. Have you tried The McCallen 12 yr? Or Ben Nevis? I have not When you pour the McCallen, cut it with a couple drops of water, that makes it much smoother and it really brings out all the flavors. Ben Nevis, no such need because it just might be the smoothest whisky I've ever tried.
  5. Well, 6 of 7 makes it hard to argue against that...painful, I know... Wisconsin owned Bo Pelini, I'm not ready to concede any ownage of the current staff. It's 2-0 but a slim 2-0. I'd say that's fair.

  8. It's just my opinion, but I think he's good enough to play in the pros. Size and speed isn't everything, if it was Steve Largent wouldn't be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I'm thinking its his durability that is his limiting factor. In regards to the bold? Man, who can ever forget that behind the back catch? Isn't that the one that first had people calling him Westercatch? He certainly made more than his share of outstanding catches during his tenure here. ...Northwestern Hail Mary? An excellent example.
  9. He was pointing out our history with Wisconsin and even said.... So yeah, I'm pretty sure we all know TA is no longer our quarterback... Then he should know it's irrelevant to what the team does in the future don't you think? It's not necessarily irrelevant, as stated before, we've lost 6 out of the last 7 to Wisconsin. That's with 2 different quarterbacks and 2 different coaching staffs. Granted we haven't gotten blown out by Wisconsin with this staff but we haven't exactly proven we can beat the Badgers either. The difference is: 2011-2014 Bo Pelini Coach Taylor Martinez/Tommy Armstrong Quarterbacks 1-3 record, (1 17 point comeback win-3 total blowouts) 2015-2016 Mike Riley Coach Tommy Armstrong Quarterback 0-2 Record (1 game losing FG, 1 Overtime loss) 2017 Mike Riley Coach Tanner Lee Quarterback I'm agreeing with you far more than him. Again, I just understand where he's coming from and how he got there because...he posted it. He'll come around if we start beating the Badgers.
  10. If Diaco comes through on the 3-4 and the O-Line plays well, we could end up with a very good record. Maybe even just one or two losses to Ohio St and maybe Penn St.

That's with 2 different quarterbacks and 2 different coaching staffs. Granted we haven't gotten blown out by Wisconsin with this staff but we haven't exactly proven we can beat the Badgers either. Our last drive in the last 2 games against them could've won the game both times. Also you're comparing 2 QBs who were recruited to be run first to a QB who is pass first and judging those 2 QBs on their weaknesses to make an argument against the current QBs strength saying nothing will change. For the most part, I'm in agreement with you. All I'm saying is I understand where he's coming from and how he got to that point. And where he's coming from isn't necessarily bad, he's simply looking at our history. He'll come around as soon as we start winning.

  15. I didn't "imply" Nebraska had no shot at beating Wisconsin. I stated it outright. Listen, all Nebraska has to do to prove me wrong is win. Right now, we're .200 (1-5) against the Badgers. This year, the Badgers come to Lincoln, and we have (I think, finally) an accurate passing QB. I still think Wisconsin will win because I think they're more physical, they're better coached, they play harder, and they want it more. Their overall record against us bears this out. Talk about #AnInconvenientTruth I would love to hear how you came to the conclusion that they want it more than NU does Would think our (since 2011) .200 record against the Badgers would be ample evidence. But, since you asked... Maybe it's the fact that NU can't run the ball. We can't really throw against the Badger defense, and, all told, really can't do sh** against them. But right, I'm 100% sure that all our losses can be attributed to Wisconsin's higher recruiting classes and greater "talent" level. What in gods green hell leads you to think we can't pass against Wisconsin? Because in 2016 Tommy Armstrong had 153 yards passing and we gained, as a team, 152 yards rushing. That's 305 total yards. Hard to win any game with such low offensive output, let alone such a good division opponent. http://www.espn.com/college-football/boxscore?gameId=400869683 Or 2015, when Tommy passed for 129 yards. http://www.espn.com/college-football/boxscore?gameId=400763536 Or, 2014 when Tommy passed for 6/18 for 62 yards. http://www.espn.com/college-football/boxscore?gameId=400547974 Now I realize that now we finally might have actual QBs who can throw... But until they have a 250+ yard performance, in an actual game against Wisconsin, we really don't know. This site so bizarre sometimes. I'm pointing out things that are 100% true regarding Nebraska's dismal, year after year, performances against the Badgers, and I'm being put through the proverbial wringer like I'm stating things that are easily disproved and untrue. #That's The Internet I Guess Personally, I don't get why people are so down on you and your posts. You're nothing like CM Husker was, or any number of other people who soiled themselves over Riley's first season. (Most of those folks are now banned.) And it's not like you can't support your position either. /shrug

  17. Agreed. I'll be shocked if Wisconsin beats us. Their schedule is insane. I've been calling it all the way we will beat them this year. @ 1995 Redux and Huskers44... Fellas, I like where your respective heads are at...but Nebraska will not beat Wisconsin this, or any other year. Wisconsin consistently: plays harder executes better is tougher and "wants" it more than Nebraska does. That's why they beat us every single year. You really need to learn how to state facts in past tense when it's appropriate and to quit lumping people and things into such black and white categories. It's very off-putting. What I said covers up to right now...hence usage of present tense. Can anyone make the case that Wisconsin hasn't utterly dominated Nebraska since we've joined the Big 10? What's wrong with being definitive here and putting things in stark "black and white?" Nebraska joined the Big 10 in 2011. The Huskers have beaten the Badgers one time. Once! Three other times, we've been taken behind the woodshed and beaten so badly I think Melvin Gordon is still scoring TDs against the defense. Look, I'm not going to apologize for being blunt. When Nebraska starts playing better: beating Wisconsin at least half the time, doesn't get pounded by Ohio State by 59, and/or lose to Iowa by 30, etc...then I'll give full credit. We all appreciate the history lesson, but nobody here has forgotten what a disaster our series eith Wisconsin has been. Now, subtract the Pelini era debacles from the equation and only look at what currently matters, the last two seasons. The games were viciously close, and let's be frank, we weren't that great of a team overall either year. I, as well as many others, expect the Badgers to take a step back in 2017. So even if Nebraska doesn't improve (which we will), with the game being in Lincoln, we have the advantage. Cling to the Pelini-Wisconsin beatdowns all you want, they have little bearing on this season. Not "clinging" to anything. Once again, pointing what should (but is not) blatantly obvious: Wisconsin utterly owns Nebraska. Until we start notching victories, and not get beaten like a red-haired adopted dog, yeah...I'm going remain skeptical. Yup, 2 years in a row Wisconsin barely escapes us. They own us. I guess that means since we are 3-0 against Penn State we don't need to worry about winning that one right, we own them! I don't think its a matter of if we can beat Wisconsin, but a matter of when. We've lost 6 of our last 7 games vs Wisconsin. Even if I don't necessarily agree with his pessimism, I can at least understand where he's coming from.

Cling to the Pelini-Wisconsin beatdowns all you want, they have little bearing on this season. Those beatings from Wisconsin were pretty bad. Someone here was calling Pelini 408 and got banned for it no? At first I couldn't figure out who he was referencing with "408", when I got it, I laughed so hard.
  19. While I wish he could make a roster somewhere, I'm not really surprised by this. How many times did we see him leave a game due to being dinged up?
  20. NOt arguing with you just wondering: Does "actually more productive overall" include the multiple lost fumbles Martinez had in 2012 or does it just count his 80 yards and 3 tds that he produced more then Ganz? Didn't he lead the nation in fumbles that year? I'm pretty sure you're right, and this is another example of how stats don't tell the whole story. Martinez really hurt the offence at times with those fumbles.
  21. If Lee has a Joe Ganz type of season, we could win a lot of games.
