  1. Starling on Watson: Starling's take, shortened for Twitter: "I think it's better for Nebraska that he's leaving…even though I had a good relationship with him." Max Olson Twitter
  2. haha yeah I agree. Johnson is going to be a force. I am looking forward to their game against Arkansas. Two probable top 5 QBs and two probable bad defenses should be fun to watch. And yeah I think Ubben just lost any credibility he had with that pick of Gilbert as the #1 player in the conference. What a joke. Edit: well it seems i've been had. Very funny Ubben.
  3. I saw this today on his Big 12 blog, "SPOILER ALERT: No. 1 on the Big 12's top 25 list: Garrett Gilbert. " After writing this, "Remember, this isn't a list of the top-25 NFL prospects in the league. It's heavily weighted toward players' actual accomplishments in their college careers, as well as their likely impact on their teams in the 2010 season.", he still selects Gilbert as the #1 player in the Big 12? I find this very hard to believe. I'm not saying he's not a good quarterback, but I wouldn't even rank him as the #1 quarterback in the Big 12.
  4. asking only workman's wages, i come looking for a job, but i get no offers

  5. no problem manitoba. I usually watch the replay of games the next morning on ESPN360 to see what I missed. Stupid beer.
  6. Do you get ESPN360 up there? If so, when conference play starts you should be able to get quite a few husker games. Especially if they're steam rolling teams like we all know they will be
  7. Owamagbe Odighizwa, National Signing Day’s tongue twister, is tight-lipped about his choice of schools between Oregon State, Nebraska and UCLA. But is Nebraska the choice for the 5-star defensive end from Portland? All were left to do is speculate, put two and two together to come up with 5-star in these 24 hours before Signing Day. But here’s a tweet from a reputable newspaperman, Paul Buker of the Oregonian, who likewise is speculating on Odighizuwa’s intentions: @pnbuker: Is Odighizuwa Nebraska-bound? Well, the paper in Omaha is sending a writer to cover kid's announcement at David Douglas HS, so .... Newspapers being what they are today, typically in penny-pinching, cut-cut-cut mode, you wouldn’t think it would send a reporter on a 1,500-mile road trip unless they had pretty good information. don't know if this was posted already. sorry if it has. the info is from this site. Don't how reputable that guy is.
  8. amen. i am thankful for all the kids that wanted to go to Nebraska. That were excited about going and proud to get the chance to carry on the tradition.
  9. saw this on scout while seaching google news for anything about Owa haha "For Tyler Moore, seeing the Husker team finish off the year in style was gratifying. After all, he’ll be a member of those Huskers next year. But it’s going to be earlier than previously planned. Moore has decided that by this time next year he’ll be firmly in Lincoln." i like the sound of that
  10. yeah it sounds like on this video, hes sayin o-wa-mahg-beh o-diggy-zoo-ah
  11. i am gonna come back tomorrow. had too much to drink.
  12. yeah im thinking we might miss that safety play as much as we miss suh. but i guess we're gonna be 5 times better this year though, so i shouldn't worry definitely looking forward to seeing what ankrah can do tho.
  13. thanks everybody. the song is called Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums by A Perfect Circle. I had just heard that song a couple months ago and as soon as i did, i thought that would make the perfect music to a blackshirt video. my favorite part is at the end when suh slams that baylor qb to the ground. somehow it synced up nicely with the part in the song that goes "go back to sleep". haha i love it.
