  1. If Foltz is still struggling from that injury, why not have him switch to rugby style?
  2. Can't blame new schemes for poor punting, bad coverage basics, and dropped balls by receivers. Team is shaky all over the place.
  3. Even though Eichorst said he's doing it himself without a search firm, he could be getting input on the matter from people like Osborne and Tressel. Oz and Tressel go way back. Tressel-as-consultant makes more sense to me.
  4. Left-field suggestion since he's at his home school, but what about Bryan Harsin? Longtime offensive coach at Boise State under Hawkins and Petersen, OC at Texas for a couple seasons, took over Arkie State and led them to a bowl, and seems to be keeping Boise on track in his first year as HC taking over for Petersen. His salary is $1 million and buyout is $2 mil. Like I said, though, I don't really see him chasing the money to leave Boise. Plus friends in Boise would never talk to me again if we hired him away.
  5. When we would get blown-out in his fist couple seasons, Bo would have emotional post-game pressers where he would say "This is not Nebraska football. This should not happen here. Ever. We're going to fix it." He doesn't say that anymore. He's come to accept it's going to happen 2 or 3 times a season. So have the remainder of his supporters, sadly. "It's still better than Callahan." I don't understand the fear of change. The Pedersen-Callahan years were a perfect storm of bad decisions. They're gone and lessons were learned. That's not going to be repeated and I don't think new blood is going to do worse than where Bo has us right now. There's risk in any major overhaul. But, if you bury your head in the sand, the world is just going to walk around you and pass you by. It already has for Nebraska football.
  6. Bo. Just shut up. Skip the post game conference. We don't want to hear it anymore.
  7. They're right. Maybe hearing it from someone other than 'bad fans' will get through to some people.
  8. Because we have enough inferior teams on the schedule to get those nine wins every year. The die-hards ignore the destruction from superior or equal teams every season. "You can't fire a guy with 9 wins." It won't end. Too many people afraid of change.
  9. Nebraska wanders through the season with one or two losses. Some players have good individual seasons. Enough that the media starts some mild hype about our chances of making it back on the stage. Then we poop ourselves on national television. The media hypers, in an effort to avoid looking stupid, then pile on Nebraska as a joke. Seven seasons and counting.
  10. Beck doesn't run the defense. Neither does Papuchis for that matter.
