I have heard similar... Anyone who doesn't think that Bo isn't in full control of the ENTIRE team needs to pay attention over the next year plus. He has a vision and WILL make it happen. I passed this off as just a pipe dream when I heard that this juco coach was coming up here. But with everything that has happened (i.e. recruits that were Watson's leaving), it really makes you wonder what will happen.

I couldnt tell you if this has ANY legs to it at all. But the rumor has it that the Head Coach from a very prestigous juco was coming to NU to be our OC after this year. To continue the rumor (which I will repost later in rumorville) it was said that he was bringing two players with him. One of which was committed to another school.... With the recent developments with Watson's golden boy and Ted Gilmore's guy, this makes it VERY VERY interesting.

James Franklin wouldnt be a bad pick up. If we go to him and tell him that Missery is going to become Gabbert U and he wont get a fair shot at QB. Franklin is from Texas as well so maybe Beck can pull some strings and get the kid up for a visit. According to Rivals we would only be is second offer as well. I wanted Sean Robinson from day one. He was a four star kid until we stopped recruiting him. Not that I am a star gazer or anything. Hes 6ft5 205 and runs in the 4.5s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But yet we wanted 6ft NOTHING 190 lb Gabbert that runs in the 4.7-4.8s????????? But with the recent developments reguarding Shawn Watson's golden boy and Ted Gilmore's recruit CC both decommitting I think it might be a sign that Watson and Gilmore's seats could be hotter than we think.

I think Oregon State is kind of out of the picture on this one. No insider info on that, just a hunch. I see Oregon as the biggest competition on this one. He was a Cal lean at one point before he visited Lincoln and Gainsville. But we have a very good chance at getting this kid N. Him saying that we got screwed and being mad about it could be a sign that he feels some sort of connection to our program. I said it a few weeks ago that he is a perfect fit in every way for our program. It is up to him to realize it.

You are too late! I called this like two weeks ago. =) I believe Florida will be filled up on DEs by the AAA game. They should get Martin and Powell and also have a 4 star kid committed. I dont think they are recruiting Owa as hard as we are. Him thinking that we got screwed out of the UT is a good sign IMO.

He probably just submitted film to rivals to be ranked.

I saw a thread awhile ago about how many offensive kids that are scholarshiped on the team. And there are more of them than on the defense. That is why we are a bit unbalanced this year with D vs O recruits.

This is s**tty. There is no other way to spin it. I really liked this kid. Was very excited when he committed. But we dont need him. If he said no to Bo Pelini's face then I dont want him.

but come on now FIU!??? nothing against them as a school but i think nebraska would be a way better place to further his career................ I agree. I was just trying to find one good reason he would visit a place like FIU. Thats all I got.
