I feel a lot of people will be shocked at how much of a difference having more than one WR will have on the offense.

A lot to unpack here. I don't have much time, but the thing that sticks out immediately to me is If you're of the opinion that an injury to the non-throwing shoulder doesn't matter you've never thrown a baseball or football property one time. Clearly, there are differences between the front side and the throwing arm. But your front side is extremely important. Stand sideways and throw a baseball or football without raising your off shoulder/arm.

Check Joe’s stats from last year and place them next to Adrian’s from last year. You’ll find Burrow was not better last year than what we had. Nobody called this breakout season from Burrow at all.

When Betts and Manning get to campus it'll make Adrian that much better.

I expect us to sign two more in February, placing us at 90 and we'll have some attrition that gets us to 85 by the end of spring.

You can only have 88 at a time on scholarship at the end of each semester. Which is why Betts and Conn weren't going to be allowed to sign early because we thought we had either Slusher or Johnson. When it was clear we didn't we let Conn sign late Wednesday. After Frost's meeting with Mo, Betts was allowed to sign placing us at 88; 3 over the total limit, perfectly legal.

I haven't talked to many people who don't believe Martinez when healthy is our best option AS IT STANDS. That's obviously subject to change.

If they allowed him as a student they would have had to accept his credits as electives.

The only differences between what we do and what Chip Kelly and Mark Helfrich did at Oregon is how we block plays and we have more gap blocking packages. I'm really hoping Scott trusts the OL enough next season to run as much exotic blocking packages as we did in 2018 that really made our offense dangerous. We saw pin and pull blocks which were a staple of what Scott did at Oregon and UCF a very minimal amount of times and I'm going to guess that was because we didn't trust any of our OL to get out and block in space. How any of it is different than what Beck does? The base 4 plays are the same, but the reads and blocking are different. Beck might do a few things we do. But he doesn't do everything we do. Which is what makes our offense work. Beck tries to morph about 4 different schemes into one and call it his.

I can't think of a single transfer rule that would allow a student athlete to transfer to a 4 year as a student and not be allowed to play.

I feel he'll be our second best, but we'll preserve his redshirt.

Adrian Martinez will be your starting QB next year. I kind of feel a lot will be disappointed when they find out Luke McCaffrey will be 3rd behind Smothers

If you also read the tea leaves with scholarship numbers, Betts being allowed to sign scream that Mo is not expected to be on scholarship next semester
