Michigan has plain and simply underacheived with the talent they have on their hands...they'll drop a few more this year IMO. I predicted them to be 3rd or 4th on the Legends this year.

Yet...I'll add this...they made it to the Sugar and won it...so I'll give them that and it's an impressive feat. I would expect to see a bit more consistency though

I don't think Hoke quite has "his guy" at QB yet. Hokes a good coach, I like his approach to coaching. He will win games.

This class was never going to be that good...

Pelini and the coaches have finished the recruiting wars in good fashion the last two years. We need what....about 8 to 10 players to fill this class? If we get the OT's, a few DB's, at least 1 LB and whatever else the coaches can find we'll be in decent shape with 3 good classes in a row.

I believe they said we would take 4-5 DB's....we are at 3 now. So 1-2 more is what we are looking at.

I wouldn't disagree with you there JJ. Lack of depth up until this year definately hasn't helped either. When you watch KSU from 2010, sure Taylor made perfect reads that night, but he was helped by KSU's defense being out of position and taking unGodly horrible defensive pursuit angles.

He did rush for 205 yards against one of the best defenses in CFB last year.

With Taylor, you can just tell how he is going to run in a game once you see his body language. He used to run with more abandon and I've only noticed that same thing a few times in the last two years. Kinda like how you could tell Favre was going to play by seeing his eyes.

Leidner is a gamer. He's got the moxy and mobility that has given our defense fits. I was very impressed with him. If Minnesota's pass rush was there that game would have been a lot different. #88 will be a handful too.

Minnesota was on the move with 7 minutes left and the score 28-13 and they turned it over. Michigan then scored then scored again quite promptly on a pick 6. It went from 28-13 to 42-13 in the blink of an eye when Minnesota was threatening to give Michigan fans a heart attack. Michigan is JClowny-overrated.

We are so young on defense it's stupid. All of our major contributors on defense have their best football in front of them. Need to get our linebackers to start flying to the ball. Afalava was a monster today.
