  1. Exceptional distance jumper. Jumped further than anyone from Nebraska has, but its not a state record prob because he did it at a Nike event (25'5" in the Long, and 50'6" in the Triple).
  2. Seems like the competition isn't all that, but with D1 athletes in this situation, they need to be completely dominant. It appears as though he's completely dominant and clearly athletically superior with his competition.
  3. Disappointing for the missed chance in this final four. Wisconsin out, Stanford out. It'll be Texas most likely.
  4. Again calling a foul as a result o what happens with the ball. If its not blocked, the ref probably doesn't call a foul.
  5. Can't review judgement calls. Pretty sure they can only review binary stuff in basketball games like who last touched the ball or if an action constitutes a flagrant foul.
  6. There was a couple calls that were called on the expectations of contact or looking at the result of a play before calling the penalty.
  7. He had a pretty long interview with the announcers on BTN coming out of half.
  8. Problem is they started so poorly that they have to dig out of that hole. Can't do that against a team like Indiana.
  9. Bad start on the offensive end. Davis is spanking Walker on both ends of the floor right now. Need to hit shots when available. Griesel missing the game probably takes whatever chance we had and throws it away.
  10. Hurts, but I'm of the opinion that its OK if a Nebraska kid doesn't want to go to Nebraska, as long as they don't go to a different B1G school and the coaching staff did their best to try to get him.
  11. I'd take a different approach, if it was actively being covered up back in the day, then they knew it was wrong and it doesn't matter if we should view it differently with modern sensibilities.
  12. Transitive property and all that but Purdue only beat FSU by 10 tonight. That means we're winning by 7.
  13. I'm not sure what is different between this years team and last years, but they seem to play together more confidently. They've also been able to play some coordinated D to get some stops. Keisei's also been on tonight, which helps. Also helps when Boston College goes on a Nebraska patented scoring drought.
  14. Something that's been floated around other message boards is that you bring Robinson as the DC to get him in the building and bring in Snow as a defensive analyst to be a mentor.
  15. That's not on strength and conditioning, that's a mental lapse where the two guys thought Illinois wouldn't attempt to block a PAT like they do a FG.
  16. Talking about Rhule being the next coming of Riley while also talking up Campbell. Campbell is more similar to Riley than Rhule at the college level.
  17. Player whose fandom hype greatly overlapped his actual production after a single game where he faced the worst team in the B1G.
  18. Fandom hype over Yant was drastically over his actual production and skill. He was great against Northwestern last year (the worst B1G team we played), but never did anything close to that again.
  19. Missed the INT thrown right to him, but got the ones where he beautifully read the plays/WRs breaking and undercut for the INT.
  20. While they don't have a job, the team is still playing. Trev is probably allowing Mickey to play out the season without the distraction that the new coach is looking over his shoulder. Announcing after the season makes it so the new coach can just walk into his office and start working.
  21. But also it’s not something taxpayers are paying for right? The football coaches salary is pulled from the revenue the school receives and private donors correct? I know Covid hit the revenue stream hard, but the athletic department still runs in the black right? Just seems like we’re stuck in the penny pinchers mindset when it’s not needed, especially when the new TV rights roll in and the revenue takes another jump. edit: just thinking about that report a couple pages ago where we tried to frontload a lower cost for the duration of the Carolina contract and how it ended up going back to the drawing board.
  22. Carolina's probably going to argue that he's worth $10M a year so that they don't have to pay him anymore.
  23. He also said that reporting was Mularky. But another report said its similar to Lincoln Riley last year refuting the LSU job, but going to USC. Kiffin to Nebraska confirmed.
  24. Came back for the championship game: 10 catches, 104 yards 2 ints, 1 PBU and would have had a third INT if he didn't slip on a ball thrown right a him
