  1. I'll be putting up a "TCU version" of Hot Read Hotties in the next day or so. You'll want to check that out. I've been collecting quality pics all year. Should be a hit with my readers!
  2. What's the 5th quarter? When the game is over their band takes the field and plays songs and runs around like a bunch of 5th graders on recess. The fans do congo lines in the stands, throw things on the field, and act like fools. Wisky did the 5th quarter at the Rose Bowl right in the middle of our Rose Bowl Trophy ceremony. CLASSLESS. Not to mention the Badgers did not come to midfield and shake hands at the completion of the game. I used to root for Wisconsin over Ohio State and Michigan. That won't be happening anymore. Nebraska is my BIG TEN team now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Yes, I was sitting in an all TCU section, but a few TCU fans got stuck on the border of the Wisconsin section. The "F*CK You!" chant was definitely a topic of conversation on the TCU board. And its not just one group of Wisconsin fans.....Its entire Sections! 1,000's of fans chanting FU. Its as audible as the "Bullsh*t" chants you hear at basketball games.......if that gives you an idea. Definitely makes beating them all the more sweeter. Off topic: Is the TCU board free? And if so, where is it? Yes it is free. KillerFrogs
  4. Who needs to describe it in words when you can watch actual footage. This footage is not taken from the Rose Bowl so its obvious this is a common chant. NSFW obviously Wisconsin FU chant

  6. Hey Husker Fans! It's been a while since I was on the site, but I just got back from the Rose Bowl and want to give you a little insight on the type of conference you are entering. Back in 2001, TCU came to Lincoln to face Crouch and the Big Red. I came away from that game with the utmost respect for Nebraska AND its fans. Great sportsmanship, knowledgeable, respectful, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately you guys will have your hands full with GARBAGE FANS the Big Ten has to offer. Here was my posting over at Killerfrogs.com: "Well I'm back in the great state of Texas! And yes, I know the title of this thread is pretty harsh. But, my observations of Badger Nation as a WHOLE reflect these thoughts. 1. Their young fan base is COMPLETE GARBAGE! Before the game there was profanity, classlessness, unsportsmanlike conduct (penalty), and blatant BINGE DRINKING to the point of vomiting...pissing in public....lewdness. 2. Who starts chants DURING the National Anthem? WISCONSIN 3. Who had a bonehead fan run across the field AT THE ROSE BOWL? Wisconsin 4. Who's band took the FIELD and PLAYED during the Rose Bowl Trophy presentation? Wisconsin 5. Which team didn't bother shaking the hands of TCU players at the end of the game? Wisconsin 5. After the game...I was given the finger.....told I'm going to get my azz kicked....and basically disrespected by young Wisconsin fans who by this time could barely talk and were HORRIBLE losers. 6. Destruction of property. Numerous barricades..signs...etc. were tipped over, kicked, broken, stomped on. NOTE: Older more mature Wisconsin fans were very pleasant to be around. Fairly classy and complimentary after the game. UNFORTUNATELY........as the saying goes......."YOU ARE ONLY AS STRONG AS YOUR WEAKEST LINK." The absolute worst fans (as a whole) that I've ever come across. I had a colleague cover the Sugar Bowl and we hadn't discussed our experiences. He texted me at the conclusion of the Sugar Bowl that the Ohio State fans are some of the most classless fans he has come across. My response to him..."Wait til I tell you about Wisconsin." Upon entering the Big Ten next year don't get sucked into what they have going on...........STAY CLASSY NEBRASKA.

    New Big 12

Why BYU when the Big 12 could take TCU or Houston? The only reason I could see BYU is because we already have the Texas market covered, because Houston and TCU don't bring much by way of fans and whatnot. But I think Utah would be first due to the Salt Lake City market. TCU is becoming quite popular down here. Fort Worth and even a few Dallas folk have started to adopt the Frogs. Plus the Big 12 would be adding a school that actually is IN DFW marketplace...........Texas has a stranglehold on the Metroplex and bringing in the Frogs would help the exposure of the out of state schools of the Big 12 North. Not to mention recruiting. How many times does Nebraska play in Dallas a year? ZERO. Yet, you recruit the hell out of the area so why not have a game there every other year?
  8. From what I've been reading ALL NFL scouts in attendance were blown away. Here is what Gil Brandt had to say: Bradford’s pro day workout leaves crowd in awe Posted: March 29th, 2010 | Gil Brandt | NORMAN, Okla. Sam Bradford’s workout Monday in front of representatives for all 32 NFL teams at Oklahoma’s pro day almost left me speechless. And that’s saying something. Bradford threw 63 passes (13 during a stationary period and 50 scripted throws) during the workout and, in my estimation, didn’t have one that was uncatchable. He moved around well, including throwing on the run out of the pocket, and went through the entire route tree. The scripted workout included three-, five- and seven-step drops, shotgun, and play-action plays, plus sprints and rollouts to both sides. It really was a treat to watch, and I think everyone here was in awe of Bradford’s performance. In fact, he put on the best quarterback workout by a draft prospect that I’ve seen since I watched a private workout Troy Aikman put on for us with the Cowboys in California. If Bradford is feeling the effects of his shoulder injury or is experiencing any weakness, there were no indications of that. He threw with velocity during the entire workout. He officially measured in at 6-foot-5 and 236 pounds. Terry Shea, a former college and NFL coach who’s working with Bradford as a quarterback consultant, told me they’ve been together for about eight weeks. Bradford has been throwing for a little more than four weeks since being cleared by doctors. I would imagine that two weeks from now, Bradford’s arm will be even stronger than what we saw. And it was very strong Monday. Gil Brandt Pete Carroll tweeted - “Just leaving OU. Sam Bradford had a great workout at his pro day … He lit it up!”
  9. The only reason that Suh doesn't go in the top three is if a GM thinks that Suh is soooooo good that he couldn't be that good. And talks himself into another player. Basically crumbling under the pressure to make the right pick and making a dumb pick. Happens all the time. But Suh is drafted in the top 3....BANK IT!
  10. Unfortunately I believe the National Championship would be Alabama vs. Ohio State. They will reward the highest pre-season ranked team. Which as of right now will be either Boise St. or Ohio St. With Boise getting screwed as usual. Nebraska would have a better shot if Ohio St. were to lose one and then get the nod over Boise St. Tough call. Bama will be in the big game if they go undefeated again (which I doubt)
  11. Ol' Rex is far from just heart. Kid's not only fast, but he's a bruiser and smart for both football and classroom purposes. Had the pleasure of watching Burkhead in high school and he is all of these things above. Plus, he knows what to do with the ball in open space. The kid is someone you just want on your team because of the "It factor".
  12. The big news here is that Rich Eisen is moving up draft boards.
  13. Wayyyyy too early. The offseason is where some of the these guys excel and get bigger and stronger. Don't discount another year learning the system. I'm sure Joe Schad was just trying to get something out on the net in order to draw attention. That's why I don't agree with people releasing a Top 25 for 2010 the day after the national championship game. It makes no sense. That's why we wait until the recruiting classes are signed and the junior's have figured out if they are going to declare or not before releasing our Early Bird 2010 College Football Top 25.
