  1. This one gets ugly on the field and uglier for the fans after the game. I was at the 2002 game... Neb: 38 PSU: 0 Rush: 200 Pass: 250
  2. Shameless plug for my Cavs after that big win vs GT last week!
  3. So, you'd rather Nebraska NOT play in the B1G Championship Game? My bad--another team from Leaders.
  4. Agreed; I just feel really uneasy about having a MSU team coming into Lincoln having just lost...as Duke's Coach K said, "Never lose twice in a row." I have a tough time seeing MSU losing twice in a row...would rather have them play us hungover as hell
  5. Hello all; this is one of my first posts. Big question regarding the big game tonight: who should we cheer for? I see both sides of the argument as follows: Cheer for Wisconsin because: Makes our Wisky loss look not as (?) bad An undefeated Wisky team opens up an at-large spot for runner-up (i.e., potentially for us) A MSU loss evens out the top of the Legends division--making our game vs MSU even more important Cheer for MSU because: We want them to strut into Lincoln (rather than come in angry) Could allow another team from Legends to sneak into B1G championship game (unlikely)
  6. Nebraska: 35 Kansas: 9 Rushing: 328 Passing: 128 Sad that such a long series will come to an eNd
  7. Win or not, Suh single-handedly (literally!) threw Colt out of the Heisman race. That sort of dominance alone should win it for Suh--the fact that he performed well not only against Big XII teams, but that when he went head-to-head with Colt McCoy (who everyone was drooling over after the A&M game), he flat-out owned him. Regarding the comment about C.J. Spiller's dominance in the ACC: being a student at an ACC school (UVA), I would compare the the position of the ACC's leading rusher to my high school JV team's leading rusher. The conferences just don't compare.
  8. 1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation? About 30 seconds now. 2) What/who led you to The Nation? I stumbled across it while searching for "Husker forum". Previously I had read ESPN's Nebraska Football page for Cornhusker news, but just couldn't take it anymore... 3) Where are you from originally? Ashburn, VA. I am a UVA student in Charlottesville, VA, although my family is originally from South Omaha. 4) Where do you live now? Charlottesville, VA--Fiji house. 5) Favorite Husker memory? Seeing the Black 41 Flash Reverse Pass against Oklahoma. 6) Worst Husker memory? Thinking we'd upset Texas, blasting Hail Varsity, and looking back at the TV right as UT made a FG. 7) Number of home games attended? 1--the 2006 win vs. Mizzou 8) Number of away games attended? 2--a 2002 loss vs. Penn St and a 2009 loss vs. hated Va Tech 9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? My Huskers hat I've had since 2nd grade. I still wear it almost everyday. 10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.) 3rd floor of the Fiji house. 11) Favorite all time player? Eric Crouch 12) WCO or Option? Option. There's nothing like watching NU run over and over through an exhausted defense. 13) Stevie Pederson or Billy Byrne? neither. 14) Lil Red or Herbie Husker? Herbie Husker. Lil Red looks like something advertising a car dealership sale. 15) Favorite Husker play? Black 41 Flash Reverse Pass 16) Favorite game-day beverage? Natty Light or Bud 17) How did you find HuskerBoard? (referral source) A lucky Google search
