There's still a little bit of a difference. That may actually help them. Less distractions and time away from their real recruiting advantages.

In the kids' defense (kids being plural for all recruits), no matter where you pick (Alabama, Nebraska, Kansas) there is always the possibility the staff changing before you sign. Be it leaving for the NFL, another school, or being told to, the coaches may not be there. Everyone know that you should commit to the school, and everyone knows they commit to the staff, which most of us probably would too as 18 year olds. As much fire as the internet put Pelini under at the end of last season, can you honestly say you wouldn't advise your kid to have a backup plan in case the worst scenario happened? My only issue with it is that they should do this backup searching before they commit, but a lot of them commit so fast, they don't have a chance. That said, everything he's said has been solid to us, and he seems to have a good relationship with the staff and other recruits, so I'm still optimistic that he'll be here and really hope he will.

Question for the film guys... How do you view him in comparison to Lamin? I'm not much for evaluating interior DL. I know a lot were mad we didn't get him. Are they the same type of player? Same caliber? ESPN has Clinkscales ranked higher in their JC rankings(not that it really means anything in the long run, but nice to see they have a high opinion of him). Same questions in regards to Pelon as well. I'm really glad this guy decided to come to Nebraska, seeing that picture with him and VV and the fact that VV doesn't dwarf him makes me very excited for him to play here.

Based on what was just said about a redshirt freshman starting over Lee 3 years ago, I would say that it will be a completely open competition. Bo is not afraid to stick his neck out and play the best player at that position. Just imagine the full page spread in the paper the day of the spring game going over the Armstrong/Stanton/Darlington competition.

Can someone move him to 2015? I keep seeing that he doesn't have an offer yet and it confuses me, until I remember he's a 2015 so they are still measuring him up. Gotta try and lock him up this weekend though....
