    I have no idea why, but I keep forgetting about Vedral. Him being eligible next year will go a long ways to strengthening the position. I'm still not sure that McCaffery will be a QB, so I wouldn't be opposed to another QB, even if it's a local kid.

    So the coach who recruited Gebbia didn't get fired? And Gebbia didn't spend 9 months trying to fit into a system he isn't built for, and couldn't win a job in? All of this pearl clutching about a scholarship is funny to me; as if every coach in the country doesn't have a wasted scholarship or 5 on their rosters.

    Up until a day ago, he was the 3rd string QB behind two freshmen, one not built for the offense and another who hasn't taken a live snap in 2 years.

    I wouldn't worry about that; Milton averaged less that 10 carries a game last year.

    UCLA won't be any better; Kelly's offense is a worse fit than Frost's is. Honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at Ole Miss when all is said and done.

      I mean, we still have Dismuke. I don't think the irony is lost in stating that he came here on his own a year before the rest of the Calabasas/California crew.

    The opportunity to play as a RB is far greater than at QB. Barring injury, TG's chances of unseating Martinez are only going to get smaller with the more experience that AM get in the offense. It was a need before this, but now they really need to take another QB in this recruiting class.
