  1. SRV's version of "Voodoo Chile." Allison Krauss' version of "When You Say Nothing At All". "Africa" by Leo. Honestly, not better than original, just different for different mood. This one might be out there, but "Under Pressure" by P3.
  2. I know I'm a bit late to this party, but I just finished "After Life" by Ricky Gervais. Great show. Heart wrenching and laugh out loud at the same time. Highly recommend. Also really enjoyed "Loudermilk."
  3. Trying to post link to Huskers.com story but unable to.
  4. Husker Rifle team takes 6th overall at NCAA Championships.
  5. Didn’t see the “Pong” controller. Friends in HS had Intellivision. Never did figure out that one. First one I owned was NES. Super Mario Bros with a Def Leppard sound track was how I spent much of off duty time.
  6. I’ll give it a shot... Voodoo Chile - SRV I Remember You - Skid Row Tom Sawyer - Rush The Breakup Song - Greg Kihn Shine - Collective Soul Separate Ways - Journey Roll With The Changes - REO Speedwagon Anymore - Travis Tritt Copperhead Road - Steve Earl Panama - Van Halen and finally, any one of about ten Skynyrd songs. I know that’s eleven, sue me.
  7. Ahsoka turned out to be one the best characters in The Clone Wars, and was a recurring character in Rebels. One my favorite all time series finales was Star Wars: Rebels. Both good shows worth watching for even the casual SW fan.
  8. Bands: Skynyrd Clapton Van Halen Metallica Travis Tritt Songs: Fur Elise-Beethoven Voodoo Chile-Like SRV version best, but there are many others The Flame-Cheap Trick Rollin In Then Deep-Adele 9th Symphony-Beethoven Genre: ’80s-Early ‘90s Hair Metal- does that count?
  9. I like how they use a volleyball game as the back drop for interviews with Coach Cook and the new B1G Commish.
  10. Star Wars original trilogy Terminator I & II Lethal Weapon I & II Die Hard I & II Raiders of the Lost Ark The Holy Grail Christmas Vacation Animal House

  13. Ladies win first set 25-19.
  14. Huskers win after trailing 0-2. Great job ladies!
  15. Huskers beat Santa Clara 3-1. Great job ladies!
  16. For grilling, a good quality gas grill will be great and last for years. I have a nice Weber. Put wood chips in aluminum foil pouch and set next to burner. Adds a bit of smoke flavor to anything grilled. For the smoker, I have a Weber Smokey Mountain. Uses charcoal and works great. It is a good compromise between the purist BBQ snob offset stick burner and the set it and forget it Traegers.
  17. Asked Alexa to play Beethoven whilst perusing Huskerboard. Edit: “Fur Elise” just came on.
  18. Huskers take game 25-13, 25-20, 25-21. Great job ladies! 18-1 in conference.
  19. I thought we couldn't talk about that....
  20. That's a pretty good list. But I will add: Raylan Givens Malcom Reynolds Adrian Monk Edit to add: Jack Bauer
  21. Grew up in extreme north east Ne, within eye sight of SoDak. A crick ran pert near to our house. Ate taverns at church pot luck, no pop though, just tea (un-sweet). Getting to have a pop was a special occasion only. Never heard of Yum Yums until today. Never heard of Runzas until a classmate went to college in Norfolk. Had relation in west central Minnesota. They accused us of having a southern accent.
  22. Great job ladies! Huskers win 25-16, 22-25, 25-14, 25-18.
