Guys, my heart sank whan I read about Bowman. Jeez, what horrible luck for him, however, it is March, and not October, thank God. Even still Zach (sp) can come back to play this year. And I, for one, am the extremely hopeful sort that thinks he will be back playing for UNL batting down balls and makin' intereptions!!!! Yeah baby!!! Who is with me??!!

Thanks Nicole, I do make him check before I go down there even though he wouldn't tell me if he saw a snake. I hate mice and snakes. Snakes outside are one thing , and I do the happy dance when he gets them with the lawnmower but when they come into in my domain that is another story. I know it's silly to be afraid of somethng that will not hurt me but...they are still snakes and do not belong in my home. Basement or otherwise. I'm in the middle of the freakin town for gods sake!!!!! The snakes should be gone!!! Although the property on which we biult our house, and the rest of the subdivision, used to be farmland... Yes, I live in one of those cutter cutter neighborhooods and am not liking it so much. So crowded, and busy.

I think how true most if not all of this sayings are so. Especially the one about : I've learned that you can keep vomiting long after you think you're finished.

I know, that's what freaks me out is that they are so common, and the fact that this is not an old house which is leading me to believe that we may have a foundation problem...God damn, what the hell else can go wrong this 1st quarter of the year...

how does one get rid of gardner snakes?? (sp) I found one in my basement..'bout peed my pants.. the hubby took it outside but how do I know there isn't more??? He says there isn't but... Any quick fixes or home remedies?? And my house this isn't a farm house. I live is the 'burbs. Help please!!! Will moth balls around the perimeter work in this case?? I thought I read that somewhere... I hate snakes... Come on guys, I know your lady folk don't like them none either...

I noticed that no one said that Sprng Breakin' in Colorado is a bad thing. I'm not from Denver and I am way out of your age range but I think you could find a good time at the the Baseball stadium, Coors Field. D

Once again, kids are not being held accountable. Parents take up the issue, file a suit, whatever. For gods sake, make your kid/s be accountable and responsible. They know what their schedule is and what is due when. 4.5 gpa tells me this is not a stupid kid. I'd be totally thrilled if my kid would have had or would have, even now in college, a 4.5. At least I'd feel like my tuition $$ are well spent 'cause I'm not feeling that way now.

It was 75 in Longmont Colorado today!!! You might want to check us out Nigel if you're looking for a place to land. Not necessarily Longmont, but Colorado has a lot to offer. And there are a ton of Husker fans out here...I promise. And yes...the snow is finally gone from all corners of the back yard, front yard and driveway!!! Actually, the snow ususally doesn't stay around for very long. This year has been strange to say the least. We actually had a little bit of rain this past Saturday.

Parents will probably spend every dime...kids won't see a thing.
