This is how radicalized the American right has become. It'd be even funnier if I wasn't concerned about the consequences down the road. I'm almost with the NRA on some gun issues, but even I realize this is FAR from an all out attack on the 2nd amendment.

I'm glad someone brought that up, it ticks me off when people like Piers Morgan get on their agenda and try to spin the statistics. Of course murder and violent crime are going to be higher in a country with a population of 300 million compared to 62 million! That's why you have to give statistics some context or they're just useless numbers.

They upgraded the 2 critical patients to stable, one after a lengthy surgery. It's always painful to hear people ignorant of a sport describe it. How the heck is that camerman OK? Wow. Right before the wreck he is just standing there, then when the guy with the cell camera pans back he is gone and replaced by a huge hole in the fence and an engine. He's one lucky SOB. I think the debris was on just the right trajectory that it took out his camera and just missed him. The cars found the weakest spot in the fence, where the access doors are. He was set up at just the right angle, look at where the doors are and how he is angled with them at the 0:16 mark. I think the only thing NASCAR could have done was to have a seperate cage setup around the doors to act as a secondary catch for this kind of incident. But that's not going to stop the tire that basically cleared the fence on it's own.

I wonder if Jim is regretting not being in KS right now He should have hit up south central Nebraska, but the East Coast boy may have been out of his elment.

You are correct, sir. You can kinda get an impression of the size of those windows by comparing the worker whose picture I took a month ago in THIS POST. There are windows on the south side where a single pane is missing, randomly. I'm not going to believe a single pane randomly missing 100 feet in the air is used to move in equipment. Sorry. Better get out your tin foil hat!
