I'm really going to have a hard time NOT having any of our games on Fox Sports.

Basically, the FSN guys are huge Texas homers saying everyone misunderstood what happened with Texas and the Pac-10. Said Texas wouldn't go without it's "friends" A&M, Tech and Baylor. Said everyone has to face reality when it comes to why Texas gets its way so much, he said its because they are a huge University and great athletics. Blah, blah, blah I think you get the picture Yep, that's a pretty accurate rundown of the first 30 minutes or so. Call me naive, but considering Nebraska was the first team scheduled on day one, I was expecting some Husker centric coverage, or at least a decent team rundown. Instead they open with interviews with ISU QB Austin Arnaud and former CU Buff Joel Klatt. Thanks FSN, A+ work once again! Ya'll may not have liked what you saw but for anyone to suggest that Klatt is a Texas homer would be a slight stretch. There aren't many former Big 12 players that could have more of a reason to carry a grudge against Texas over Klatt for the hit he took in the Big title game that ended his college career and any chance of a NFL training camp invitation. Like I said you may have reason to be dissapointed with your coverage but Klatt is not a Horn homer. Are we reading the same thread.... Not sure where it says Klatt is a Texas homer?

I heard it this morning too. I'm trying to give 610 a chance because last night was the final straw for me with 810. KK and his root for anyone playing NU drives me completely nutz - I end up getting home all pissed off. I don't know what I'm gonna do next year, they'll never talk about the 'Skers and/or B10. I guess I'm gonna have to get XM or something . . . . .but I still want to get Royals and Chiefs news . . . . what to do Either get a mart phone and listen to 1620 in the stream or download the podcast and listen to them on your mp3 player...

While no one wanted to say it but everyone knew that Texas had too much power and new teams wouldn't have a voice. Plus any team that would have wanted to come probably would put their BCS conference in serious consideration since they would only have two teams that were worth anything. It's gonna be sweet when Texas finds out that championship games in the Pac-11 won't be played in Tx. I bet they rotate between Jerrys place, the new stadium in Glendale, The Rose Bowl and in Seattle...

What he fails to mention is that NU wanted more than a 5 year commitment from the Big 12 and also wanted Texas to give up its TV rights to the Big 12. Texas was looking out for their best interest as was Nebraska, Colorado and don't forget Mizzou. Even though it did not work out for Mizzou. They funny thing is, that whatever Conference Texas does join they will more than likely have to give up the TV rights. So if people want to pin the blame on the Huskers that's their Opinion. I say Screw'em!

I think what Nebraska is dying to get away from is the Texas ego. I know your not going to join the Big 10 but if you were things would not be so Texas centric. The part that is hard for me is that NU is now on the upswing and we have a good chance of redemption for some of those losses to UT.

Most people dont care about basketball until March Madness starts. And since all conf. get bids KU should be OK from a Basketball stand point.

This expansion talk is beyond out of control!

I truly beleive that we are on the verge of beating Texas more often then losing to them. Even in our down years we played them close. I would love to see them in the Big Ten and in our division so we would play them every year. One thing that bothers me about leaving for the Big Ten is that people will say we are running from Texas.

T.O. is not guy that would jerk us the fans around on something like this. So when he says the Big Ten hasnt contacted the university, but if did he have to look into it, then i tend to believe it. It will atleast be the middle of football season before we hear anything,IMHO. Other posters, who say they have a source, it better be something good. Until I see something on ESPN.com or any other legit website, Im not believing it. that's what i was looking for. you only know what you can prove. Exactly!

Since TO has said that there has not been any contact between NU and the Big Ten I'm curious on how there is going to be an anouncemnet this week. If I had to take a guess I would say that this discussion will be going on until Fall camp starts. And we wont hear anything from the Big Ten until after we win the Big 12 CCG this year.
