What is up with the lack of cornerback recruiting? It is arguably the most important position in this cycle for the Huskers.

Just had a conversation with a coach in LA who told me that Bookie accepted 100K+ in assets and cash over the last two years.
-
Nebraska getting some run on the Laker's telecast. Side note: Tom Dienhart got roasted on twitter. The BIG is starting to rub me the wrong way.
-
Nebraska offered a ton of good players today.
-
Nebraska is going to have the fastest Offense in the BIG next year. I don't think it will be close either. They became elite in terms of speed on O within 2 months. Incredible.
-
@ScottyIceJaron Woodyard will run a 4.2 when he works out for the pros. @commandoI think a lot of people are underselling what I am saying for the fear of being disappointed. I watched the offenses in the BIG and none of them have overwhelming speed on O. Yes pace will be up high but Nebraska has a plethora of burners.

@BIG ERNOf course. All those things won't matter if our Line play doesn't improve. I feel confident in saying that it will and that it won't take as long as many think. There is a ton of talent. These players believe in their coaching staff for once and will finally have an identity to play to. That will make all the difference in this transition. I can't wait either. I am so pumped. Who wants kool-aid?

@HS_Coach_CFair enough, but I always thought it was obvious Nebraska was the fastest team in the BIG west. Their talent kept them in the games against Wisconsin. I am referring to Offense. I don't think either of those three teams in the east are step for step faster than Nebraska on O now. Better coached in the last few years? absolutely. tOSU played fast on O but none of their players were burners. Nebraska has burners and one dude who will run a 4.2.
Guys, I am really excited about the potential of this offense.

@Minnesota_huskerLuckily they get 8 months to work on that. Current players will get faster. The freshman coming in are good. Woodyard and Williams are slotted to get plenty of playing time. The style of O will also dictate to that speed. With Woodyard, Spielman, Tyjon, Williams, Jones, Legrone( against Base D), and Washington. Nebraska surpassed a few teams in overall speed. Not many teams in the country can say they have that much speed to burn.

The university better get that little racist in check before a player does.

@HuskerInLostWagesI had a conversation with DB throughout the week and we discussed that yesterday.

I will never understand the lack of respect Ozigbo gets. He has plenty of ability to be successful and could get 1,300 easily if he has a competent Oline. He was also a bright spot on the roster last year.
-
@Pedro Guerrero Sorry man, but stats don’t tell half the story here. Wisconsin pumps out 2,000 yard rushers every year. Their running backs aren’t special. Good but not special. There is plenty of evidence to support that. Ozigbo played very well in a limited roll. He could have really good numbers behind a really good line

@swmohuskerI honestly think he could start for the best teams in the West. Jonathan Taylor and Wadley are not special. We have seen that all of their RB's are not special (guys in the league). I think Ozigbo could have 1,500 yards behind Wisconsins Oline.

I normally don't care much for Nick Bahe, but today's segment with Ryan Leaf was pretty dang uplifting. Give it a listen if you need to remember what life is really all about.

Our recruiting right now kind of confuses me. Our spot to prospect ratio seems way off. It could just be we're making sure we don't get left high and dry, but I have no clue who we're going to take and who is left out.

@HuskerzooPernell Jefferson and Quashawn Alexander have been passed up by Ward, Hampton, and Thomas. Avery Roberts is a guy to watch out for, especially with Honas coming in. if Baptiste comes in, the log jam continues. There will be a shake up. Brokop is another guy to look out for. Eric Lee, Avery Anderson, and Matt Snyder could also leave.
