  1. I will add, Dennard will move up because of the combine. he has the capability of running a 4.3 or near that range. but while everyone is going to rip his size, he'll make up for that in one test. the guy has an incredible vertical jump. over 40 inches. that will make all the scouts hard in the pants as we all know they put most of their stock into those tests. Crick is a first rounder already in my book but he too will wow in the combine. the only nack he might get is his strength. He has all the mouth dropping measureables. he will jump high. but i think he's going to be the fastest DT in the draft. look for him to post a 4.7-4.8 fourty. Lavonte is arguably the best lb in the country and he has gotten bigger. he's going to post an unreal fourty. so fast that he might get placed as a saftety. but I think he will fit in with a 3-4 defense. he's the kind of guy that might slide because teams will be scared of his weight but I see a team picking him in the first round who can use him instantly. These guys all have another year to boost their stock. Don't be suprised that they move up just because of production on the field, let alone testing.
  2. Many of the recruiting beatniks had been saying for the last couple of years that Georgia may be overtaking Cailfornia as the state that pumps out the third best quality talent. I am all in favor of raiding the SEC states, however the success of this probably be minimum as a lot of those kids seldom leave that area. BUT continued success on the field will breed large rewards on the recruiting trail. I think you also need to be picky if your nebraska and going into SEC country. because of character and academic issues. Just stop posting. While you're at it, retake fourth grade grammar. Is this towards me? I was rushing through this comment and failed to hit the comma key. I noticed it but didn't care to edit it because its just a blog and the message is rather obvious. Now I do realize there was a poster who didn't make any sense at all and that might be the guy you are referring to. Still, you managed to reply to mine.

  4. the texas number is a little low but with nebraska having such a small class, they are targeting the whole country to get big names. they can now focus on these great recruits and stay on their mind. plus Texas has plenty of talent that gets evaluated late. i believe they will offer more texas recruits and even get one or two to commit
  5. Durron Neal is a must if you ask me, he reminds me of jamal. speed and phenomenal moves. one of the shiftiest players in the nation.
  6. this class will be small but damn does it have the potential to be good. the reception we're getting around the country is pretty phenomenal.
  7. In would love to see this kids ten yd dash
  8. This is about as impressive of a tape I've ever seen
  9. I know he wont play, a lot of this is just me joking around but I do like how fluid and precise he plays. Its nice to see. I'm mentioning all this because I'm getting really sick of seeing Taylor and Cody throwing off their back foot, there are pop warner qbs who play with more fundamentals. and the joe ganz comment, i just said that because nobody thought he was good enough to play and then it turned out he was our best qb. but this is a different situation i know.
  10. And neither did Joe ganz
  11. Well Ive become a huge Ron Kellog fan, You know its really nice seeing one of our qbs step into a throw and not throw behind a receiver. Bo is always stressing technique and fundamentals. Well Its clear Ron is the only one who plays with it. Now im not saying he should start cause he needs to still grasp the O but I do think he definitely should get a shot at some point. also i find it a little weird knowing that Gruden would prob spend more time critiquing taylor's game than ron kellogs practice film lol (joke....sorta).
  12. ok well minus the wheels, its quite obvious he is our most pure qb.
  13. He Just moved ahead of Cody.
  14. I've been watching all the practice videos and I'm wondering if anybody else has been noticing the same thing. Ron Kellogg has the best footwork, release, and accuracy out of all our Qbs. And has above average zip on the ball. Now im not sure about his running ability but he looks like he could play.
  15. Nebraska has more going for themselves than any other program in the conference. Disagree and you're simply crazy and dont say the offense is a complete issue because Watson dialed up those plays in one off season and he was running a system he had no clue about. plus Neb has kept some plays from last year that worked. guys are naturally going to catch on if its much simpler like they're saying. The O will only get better.
  16. How did that Oregon High octane offense fair against a big 10 defense in the Rose Bowl? HAHA you mean the one with Masoli and Blount? and not with Huff, Barner(he became a superstar this past year), and Thomas with James? yeah good one. plus you're talking about Ohio St. which i mentioned being the big dog who can have games like that. and that game had a lot to do with Oregon's D as well. that was Pryors best game but did he do that last year? i dont think he did. plus Oregon's O is even better now than it was then. Pryor was better last year than he was against Oregon. Really? cause all I ever heard was that he needs to be a better qb and isnt even first round material. and even if you're right. what D has he played???? thats as good as ours? thats right, he hasnt. so like I said. Im aware, but confident. Well they never played a defense as good as Nebraska last year. But Nebraska also never played a defense as good as Ohio State last year either. But yes, Pryor is not first round material. That's why he said he was coming back even before the suspensions. idk because Ohio St's D could be lined up with Oklahoma's and Texas. and Texas A&M's D really turned it on late when we played them. also its not like Ohio St's playing really good offenses every week. and when they did, Wisconsin put it on them. Idk. Ohio St is still Ohio St and they're really good but Nebraska and their fans have every right to be confident. I sure am. and I expect great challenges.....because of our developing O.
  17. They're going to run to set up the pass. Lot harder to blitz the QB and cover the receivers when you have 9 in the box. The past 10 years? Really? Care to post proof of that? Because the Big10 holds a 16-15 record against the SEC in the BCS era. And Wisconsin didn't even try to run against TCU which is why they lost. But feel free to underestimate Wisconsin at Madison. I believe the Big Ten has a 1-6 record against Nebraska since 1999. This past decade of Nebraska football has been our worst since the 1950's, and we've shown consistent improvement in the past few years. Forgive us for not being petrified. Again, I said the problem wasn't being confident that you could beat Wisconsin, it was assuming it was going to be a cakewalk that was the problem. well assuming it was going to be nothing was wrong just like me assuming you're not confident. I was being a little over the top with the confidence but i dont see it any other way. Nebraska should be favored.

HAHA +1 I also see a bunch of timid bloggers who are afraid of a venue more than anything, despite the fact that 30% of it at least will be our fans anyways. Trust me folks, we will be jumping around too.
  21. ok well in that case you are right. but in the end, who has the crystal balls? nebraska is molding itself into being a top team. best Defense's? SEC. Best O? Oregon. big 12. big ten has some good teams in the middle of the pack. but man the SEC is getting LSU, Florida, Auburn, Alabama to win it all. honestly i think your numbers might be the big ten beating vandy and kentucky lol. because their top four beats ours. cause despite those stats, how often do they play and what teams are playing? cause if they played consistently, i believe those numbers would be different. now im just saying because i havent looked up what those match ups were.
  22. look i dont want to disrespect wisconsin or our new opponents. But to compare those teams with One team who has been dominating this conference forever is not right. Ohio St is the big boy. and the rest know it. so when the best got put out there, Sec whooped their a$$. the game wont be easy and yes we have some guys to replace as well. but im way more confident than most. Wisconsin will still put up big numbers next year and still be good. but im focusing on them vs us and next year, we have the clear advantage.
  23. My reason for this rant is simple. We are going into the big ten because we fit the culture, tradition, money is better, academics, and texas is not in it. But as far as what we put on the field is completely different. Nebraska will never be a Big 10 type team. Bo knows what wins and thats physicality, fundamentals, and speed. just look at who we're recruiting, we fit an SEC mold on D and heading towards a Oregon/ high octane big 12 O. Bo knows this style has been the thorn in the big 10's back. always has been. always will be. Just open your eyes and see what the coaches are telling you. We are going to dictate!. Our D dictates our opponents. We're shaping our O to dictate just like them. We're putting the speed on the field. We're going to be fast paced. when it gets to that point, forget your schemes boys, its all about who's faster and who's better. right now nebraska is winning that battle.
  24. well my bad, let me make better sense of it, When it comes to top teams going at it in big games, Sec prevails, we are a top team in the big ten with a top D. so yes i stick by that. If the Sec had troubles it was because their lack of O. Am I underestimating them? prob but to be a timid little girl about them is something im not. no offense but i think some people give too much respect, and act a little soft, and need to go in with the mindset that we will beat everyone because considering what Nebraska has and who we're playing, its not impossible. A team that lost their starting QB who helped taking them to the Rose Bowl in my opinion is a huge blow. and as far as them not trying to run. TCU was getting in the backfield and making stops at times as well. Their linebackers were flying all over the place. second if they try pulling that again on us. game over. Wisconsin is not going to beat us just running and not going to beat us abandoning it and passing. especially not being as strong as last year.
  25. Oh and if they think that they're gonna be ok just running the ball and being one dimensional. not happening, Bo feasts on one dimensional teams. Our D is set up like a SEC's D. Who's been locking down Big 10 O's in the past ten years?? Sec Defense's. I rest my case Btw didnt TCU's D contain one of Wisconsin's best offenses in school history? ha. like i said, i like our chances this year.
