  1. I like angry Zac Taylor. Even though I have been critical of him in the past, I like this version of Taylor. https://news.yahoo.com/bengals-head-coach-zac-taylor-181402029.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  2. Didn’t turn out how I wanted it but OSU battled with most of their top playmakers out. WR1, WR2, TE, RB1, RB2 all either out from the start or got hurt during the game. I really wish Stroud would have won it to shut up some of the dumb OSU fans. Even though they lost, he still had an all time game. GA/TCU should be a fun game. it is time to really define some of these penalties a little bit more. Also, the NCAA (or whatever governing body) should really be in charge of the refs and not the conferences. Coaches and players spend all year working non stop, but we leave the game up to some refs working part time.
  3. As much talk there is about OSU as a lock to be in the playoffs, I can see the committee sneaking someone else in there. Can’t assume anything.
  4. Can you guys make an offer for Zac Taylor? One he can’t refuse?
  5. I have only had bad experiences with Leipold in the past. I would stay away from him. Seriously though, that guy is a good coach. If you want to go with someone younger, he isn't your guy but he wins wherever he goes.
  6. Luke Fickell is a good coach, but you lost me at O'Brien and Bert. Alabama fans want to get rid of O'Brien and Bert is Bert.
  7. People keep saying on here that Fickell is holding out for OSU but i haven’t heard anything that would indicate that is actually true. They didn’t even look at him the last time the job was open. Maybe he would like the job but there isn’t indication that he would automatically get the job when it opens up.
  8. Maybe they had the OSU game on in the background?
  9. A decade? I can’t tell if you are serious.
  10. I don’t think urban is the answer but at this point you have to try to get him. It wouldn’t be a long term solution. Just wonder if he could lead Nebraska to a championship before he fizzles out.
  11. I'm all for expanding the playoffs if it included smaller regional conferences and not the mega conferences we are headed towards. I hope all the money is worth it.
  12. https://www.theverge.com/2022/8/8/23296678/ev-tax-credit-qualify-battery-supply-chain-china Auto manufacturers better get moving on their battery plants. It would be great if they figured out a more sustainable battery technology that can be easily recycled.
  13. The big 10 is a bunch of nerds. 16 in decimal = 10 in hexadecimal. It all works out. Back to work programming away.
  14. At this point, I would take Day/Hartline over Urban/Smith. It makes for a lot less drama.
  15. I understand this is an old reference to Trump. I'm not going to comment on people's faith and say it is real or not, but depending on your background or where you are from, Two Corinthians might be a common way of referencing 2 Corinthians. I am not going to get mad about how someone might reference scripture. However, you are right, you can tell by their fruits (even though the world might not value the fruit).
  16. Tressel (Fickel) -> Urban -> Day That looks like a nice succession to me. OSU has really been lucky when it comes to coaching hires. However, I am not one that thinks OSU will win the NC every year. Alabama really ruined what people's expectations are for a program. I am not going to go nuts if OSU loses 2 games in a year. Day isn't Urban or Saban and that is alright to me.
  17. Just congress? I am ok with a ban on anyone promoting violence.
  18. Do you believe that all accounts that promote violence should be banned? I am ok with that as long as it is applied to everyone...including leaders from other political parties and countries.
  19. The game has changed on and off the field. I don't know what kind of success Urban would have at this point. Urban also laid a few eggs in games where OSU had no business losing. As for pass rush and Day, it is too early to know, but there are two sophomores that may break out this year. JT Tuimoloau and Jack Sawyer are two 5 stars from the 2022 class and both are really athletic and talented. Guys like the Bosas and Young don't come around often.
  20. With the way things are now, I can't really get excited about a 2024 recruit. Too much can happen between now and when he would actually see the field in Columbus. I'm old enough to remember the last time the #1 overall recruit/QB in a class committed to OSU. It almost feels like it was yesterday.
  21. Yeah, one is forecasting and working with probabilities while the other is just reporting about what already happened. I think those predicting the weather might actually be better at their jobs than those working at most news outlets.
  22. It is almost like we. At least it isn't 1975-1980 levels.
