  1. Do you know what thread you're in? Or what team message board this is? Does many=you or are there more 84s out there? So many questions.
  2. “We don’t even know what kind of offense we’re going to run.” We as in us on this board? I have a feeling Scott knows what he wants to do and that’s what matters. Will it look like this year or be different? Likely different. Should be tweaked every year. This isn’t bringing in Cally. Calm down a bit.
  3. We have two long snappers that I don’t recall having a bad snap this year. Interesting they’re looking for someone else. I get it’s a PWO, but still interesting.
  4. An entire Hyvee? I guess I shouldn't be that surprised.
  5. Frost needs to hire guys that can help us win next year, or he's gone. It's not time to train someone in. It's time to win games and buy more years. I'm fine with a one or two year OC and he should be too.
  6. Yep. I'm worried if we want Joseph that now he may be able to stay home if Kelly isn't bringing his staff.
  7. One name that's been thrown around is Ciarrocca. Minny just canned their OC, so wondering if he heads back there. Sure found out the grass wasn't always greener.
  8. I’m just glad he got that extra needed experience before Friday, amiright?
  9. Instagram just reposted posts from Daniels & Taylor-Britt only. I don't think anyone would be surprised if this is their last "senior day" but just wanted to add some smoke.
  10. Don't be thatguy. He's not unserious if he sends someone out to do initial interviewing. If his list is 10 people long, he doesn't have time to fly to interview them all while coaching a team that's down four coaches. CEOs aren't typically involved in each interview. Let Matt eliminate a couple options. It's not like he's deciding the next OC.
  11. There are 54 Kohls 5 star kickers. He's listed at #17. Rivals lists 31 five-stars regardless of position. At some positions #17 is a three star. So, you might get your wish of how many stars you'd really be getting. Can't speak to his heart and desire for NU, but he can't go to the draft one year out of high school. Plus, last year only one kicker was drafted, so even if he's great and COULD get drafted, he wouldn't. I'd rather have a guy who can make extra points and field goals for a year than not have a guy who can make extra points and field goals. Perhaps we need this kid and he could do great for us, but how good he appears may not be the reality.
  12. Hopefully wherever he gets coaches from there’s a guy or two that transfer with each.
  13. I live in Minnesota so my wife cringed when I walked in with cinnamon rolls to eat with chili last night. She wouldn’t try it but my three boys did. All loved it. Tried different methods and ended up going back and forth between the two. Had leftovers for lunch today :-)
  14. Callaghan, Held and Austin following Lyles on the Tweeter. Wondering if they like him at guard? Can't imagine we'd use one of a small number of scholarships on a one-year backup center. If we're only 1-2 pieces away, a backup ain't what Frost was referencing.
  15. I liked the kid's film, but HO guys seem to think he wasn't the right size for the B1G. Seems to me he had the frame and motor. They think "letting him go" was an easy decision that NU played a role in. https://nebraska.rivals.com/news/three-out-decommits-all-conference-huskers-and-nu-coaches-on-the-road Guessing he wanted to look around because of on-field performance. Was rather surprised by the tone of the article.
  16. Both. We return a lot of starters and should get more wins. Give that a chance to take hold. More than anything I think the best available coaches don’t want to come here. Look at the list of potential Orgeron replacements. None would even think about Nebraska right now.
  17. He came here with better options. He was supposed to be the savior. He ranks near the bottom in too many categories. He played and recruited the wrong style early on. We felt he was turning the corner the last couple weeks. His SP+ is #23, the only team with a losing record in the top 25. Trev is "proud of how the kids are playing" Another close loss and pitchfork nation is after him. If our savior can't get it done, who wants to coach here next? I'm frustrated as hell, especially living in Minnesota, but I don't think it's time to move on yet. I think you do give him one more year with an easier schedule, with most starters returning, guys he's recruited for this style and coached up. I just don't see a better coach out there who would choose this job. The koolaid is a bit tart, but I'm still sipping. Go ahead, crucify away.
  18. They run the Power-T and when they throw it's usually to one of the two HBs. I agree I'd use that big target, but their system is working just fine. Spielman's old HS is a perennial power here. This was #1 vs. #2 and the score was 42-7. The 7 came on a kick return TD.
  19. What does this mean for scholarship numbers? Another for a walk-on? Another for a transfer?
  20. You can’t say Samson is better because tOSU is “interested.” They haven’t offered and his HS teammate is the top recruit in the country and already verballed to them. I’d say Page has a better offer list and if the coaches want them both then so do I.
  21. Says the guy with “93-97” in his name. I know, I’ve got a kid with a blowup for a pic, so take that with a grain of salt.
  22. Are these guys listed in order you think we rank them or any other particular order?
